Perfect place to stay for Drury Lane Theater and dinner. Many great restaurants in the area. Hotel is clean and in a great location. Free parking. Nice bar on property. Breakfast deals available.

I stayed Friday and Saturday but woke up Sunday morning to no hot water. I was not informed until I reached out to them to see if something was wrong with the water. The front desk clerk informed me the hot water had been off for 12 hours. It was cold out and I was annoyed. I was promise some points since I couldn’t receive a refund for one night. However, I had to continue to call there before they finally sent it and it only took a second. The Manager told me it would be loaded when I was checked out. I waited 24 hours and still no points. I called again and was told 3 business days. Then I called yesterday and raised hell and to my surprise they were able to load it right away. I don’t like service like that, so I doubt that I will stay there again.

It was horrible I was in room 316 there was no hot water at all for my entire stay had to take cold showers , the toilet was stopping up overall it was bad for me..

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Chicago-Oakbrook, an IHG Hotel, and was disappointed with the condition of the property. The building shows its age and, unfortunately, it isn’t well-maintained. My room’s cleanliness was below expectations, evident by the stains I found on the sheets. This lack of attention to detail made for an uncomfortable stay. The hotel needs significant updates and a rigorous cleaning regimen to meet the standard one would expect from an IHG Hotel.

The property was an average hotel as far as cleanliness and other areas that 1 with expect in a hotel. But things like facilities not being available with no prior notice. The hot water you had to let run for an extended. of time for it to work. Shower heads weren't that great and other things of that nature kind of make me give this property a below average review.

When I went to check in the hotel would not allow me to and told me I had to contact Expedia. Because the hotel had a water pipe burst from the cold weather. After about a 2 hour inconvenience I was allowed to check in the hotel.

This Holiday Inn was dirty to say the least. It was very noisy and the elevator has blood on the floor from someone. Condition of the room was just OK. The tub had chipped paint in it. And the doors to the rooms had chipped paint as well. I will not be visiting that location anymore. On a more positive note, Bar Louie was great. Food & drinks was delicious.

Did not like the noise level inside the hotel. People banging in and out all night. The door to the room stuck so once you scanned your keycard you had to shoulder your way into the room. We were not told that the breakfast was not complimentary and would have added it to the room had we known. Just not a very restful stay. The staff were professional.

The place is being remodeled. This was not clearly communicated when booking online. Online photos are deceiving.

The pool water was not as clear as it should be. Some repair work was done sloppily. The area has a nice selection of restaurants. The one in the hotel was a upper class bar with better bar food. Breakfast was good.

Very outdated. Looks great outside and on the website. They are doing some repairs but many lamps and some furniture was on the hallway. And I’ll not even start with the carpets… yak

1. Wouldn’t all me to use the internal e-mail internet because I did not book directly rather than Expedia. 2. Under construction and constant noises and filthy elevators. 3 They treat you as a 2nd class citizen by using Expedia. Would not give me internet access because I did not book through Holiday Inn. Next time IF I stayed at Holiday Inn. I would book directly for the same price

The property seems pretty clean, and you can tell they’ve done some updating to the room. They have hot breakfast, but it taste oily. The host had a really bad cough which turned me off from eating because I know he wasn’t covering his mouth. If He was covering his mouth. He still was touching over the food items. It seems like pools are becoming extinct in hotels since the pandemic but this is one of the few hotels I stayed at that still have one as well as a gaming room and a bar Louie on site. it’s close to many restaurants and shopping stores that are in walking distance. There were four elevators, but it only seem to have 1 to 2 working ones.

First off lets start by saying when i got to the hotel nobody was at the front desk we called walked around and looked for someone for 20 mins then i got to my room for the price of the room the decor could've been better looked like a cheap motel the bathroom had hair in the tub hair in the towels and hair on the pillows im guessing nobody cleaned up right

It is fine, but with all going on in town the full parking lot should have been available. Smell getting off elevator on 7th floor was burning acrylic and the room was just okay for the price. The hotel also charged me for one night 2x plus the 50 dollar hold. If the second night of a one night stay falls off that is fine, but it isn't fair if you play in advance of the night to be charged a second night ar check out that then falls off.

Rude staff. Horrible stay. Room was dirty upon check in, issue with room after extra night was paid for. Manager and staff were very nonchalant regarding disruption and complaints about current stay. Worst experience ever.
