The pool was very high in chemicals

Everything was overall fine. Staff was very friendly. Only thing is it is a bit dated, old TVs and the bed was a bit lumpy. Breakfast was good!

The only really disappointing thing at this hotel for us was the inability to use our Roku with any of the room tv's.

This Holuday Inn Express is only an average type of hotels. We have had stayed in far more nicer, cleaner & much better morning hit breakfast than this ine at Minnetonka, MN. The bathroom was at its worst!!! See and listen to its "exhaust fan", noise like a freight train. Holiday Inn Express, Minnekonka you fail miserably! Sorry, no place to attach pictures, so far.

great place to stay. quiet, convenient, reasonable, very clean!! the breakfast was hot, plenty of choices, much better than some other hotels i've stayed at.

We have 4 peoples ( 2aldult and 2kids)try to stay in the hotel. But they were giving us a small room with double twin beds.They didn't have a micowave and fridge in the room.And the room had a smell bad too.Although we booked on Expedia before we came but they told me the room sold out👎.How's bad for the services. The girl works in front desk at night time.She was so rude 😕 I was feeling so bad 😔

Quiet area, but walkable for dining, & great location for other things. Easy to find. Great staff

Service was friendly and inviting. I was greeted as an IHG Silver Elite member, which was nice. It was a bit frustrating that another Silver Elite member in our party, who checked in earlier, was given a nicer room because of his membership level. I found it odd. The pool was closed, which was disappointing. When it opened on the second day, it was too cold in the indoor pool to swim. Part of why we booked was the pool. In all, the facility was not as clean as we expect from an IHG brand hotel.

i didnt have a microiwave or refigerator in the room so came back with expensive letfovers and no where to put them or reheat i was shocked that it wasnt in a king hdcp room tremendously disapointing

The staff was amazing everyone was so kind and welcoming. The pool heater recently broke so they were working on their emergency heater, so it was really cold. But overall it was a great hotel.

We went here for a weekend getaway and it was great! When we first pulled up to the building, I was a bit leary but it is way nicer on the inside! When we checked in the person at the front desk was amazing - she moved our room because there was a group of kids near the room we were originally placed. The room was very clean and cozy. The only negative for us was that there wasn't a mini fridge in the room, which we will often bring our own snacks and drinks. This was just something we didnt realize (not something that was advertised incorrectly). This hotel is near lots of food options, which was convenient - the hotel even gave us some coupons for places nearby. Breakfast was great - way better than most at hotels we've been to!

No refrigerator in room. People making noise after midnight. Hot tub full of kids swimming and jumping in!!!!!

Very close to Minnesota Renaissance Festival (22 minute drive). Comfy bed,and my daughter loved the pillows. Jacuzzi was warm and bubbly, breakfast was very good. Planning on staying here next year for Renfest

First of all I booked at Chanhassen through Hotels.com and I ended up at Minnetonka. I needed an accessible room snd my room was not. My sons wheelchair could not fit in bathroom or between the beds. Was terrible. No refrigerator or microwave. I will not use Hotels.com or stay at a Holiday Inn or Express ever again.

Very nice, used the pool and hot tub convenient location for our Thursday evening dinner. Great Breakfast!

Bathroom floor this hotel is old. Bathroom tile missing grout in areas. There’s a dripping sound intermittently in the wall on the bed side of the bathroom wall- yikes

On website it advertised fridge and microwave. Neither could be provided. Walls in room were dirty but otherwise everything adequate. Will not stay there again.

We received a call at 9:30AM the day of our booked stay from Holiday Inn Express to say that they did not have a room with two queens which we had booked a week prior. We needed two queens since our family is four including two preteens so a king only was not going to work. They said that when you book through Hotels.com that you get the last rooms they have left and that our booking came in after all rooms were rented. That makes no sense to me even now but the person I spoke to said they call other IHG hotels to find me a suitable replacement. I didn't hear anything and got worried so called back at 1PM to find out he had not done any checking as he stated. It was the same guy and dude just didn't care. I said I needed a room in MSP so I accepted the king only room if they included a roll in bed. The TV in our room would not allow us to connect our laptop to play kids movies and the TV that was provided to the room must have been over the air content because it was a poor mix of analog and digital and half the channels would not come on for us. The icemaker on the 4th floor was plugged in but not making ice. The wifi was very weak and we could only load a webpage from time to time with zero chance of streaming anything. Breakfast was terrific and is why we chose to stay with this chain in the first place. After an uncomfortable sleeping arrangement and pretty much zero tech throughout the night I would caution anyone else who wants to stay here in the future.

Good front desk service even had baked cookies and free water as you checked in. Breakfast had alot of variety and no matter what time of night always coffee, hot water for tea,apple cider or cocoa :) Pool opens at 7 a.m. so you can get a swim in before checking out .

The mattresses were not comfortable. The room smelled of chemicals. Probably the cleaning materials. I’ve stayed here before and had a good experience This time not so good.

We stayed here for about six days. The rooms are clean, but showing their age. The entire staff works hard and is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. All of them. The breakfast is one of the best "continental" breakfasts I have seen, with a better type of pancake, good oatmeal, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and cinnamon rolls. The AC was very good, working on some very hot and humid days - no smell of mildew. The internet was very fast when most guests were sleeping - 67.3 and 9.43. But there were times when it was dropping out and slow, 7 and 0.5, which seemed to be when all the guests were online at once. I had to use my phone as a hotspot when that happened. We didn't try the swimming pool but we did use the laundry and it was fine. I would give this 4 out of 5 stars overall. I would look forward to the day they start replacing the carpeting. That would make a very big difference.

Very nice place, the people at desk were kind, checkout was perfect time and breakfast was delicious. Only thing id like or wish there was in the room is a microwave. I will return on next game day to Twins game!

The rooms were clean and the area around the hotel had a lot of food options.

We have stayed here many times but this time was not good. The air conditioning in our room didn't work. When we called down to the front desk, they told us that they knew that and we could have a fan. I went to the front desk and asked to be moved to a room with air. They said they were booked completely. I went up and pulled up the hotel app and it showed two rooms. When I went down to the front desk, they said the app was wrong and they were completely full. They couldn't move us so I asked what they would do for us. He said he would only charge us $120 for the room instead of $168. It was hot in the room and we barely slept. We got up early and left. After coming home and getting Expedia involved, we were only refunded $25 instead of $48. It's too bad because we have stayed here plenty of times and now, we won't.

I was put in a room with no controls for the air conditioning. I went downstairs to ask, thinking I just wasn't seeing them. I was told there was a door on the unit to adjust the temperature and fan. Went back up and there wasn't a door on the unit. I went back down and this time they said there were no controls for the air conditioning in this room. I asked for a different room and none were available. 83 degree day and I had to keep plugging and unplugging the air conditioner. Fortunately I was only booked for a one day stay. I will not be returning to this location.

All staff was very kind and friendly from the front desk to the breakfast buffet, every staff encountered was very kind

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and had so many options from hot foods to cold foods. Day we were there, they had cookies at night, which was a nice touch! Room's we're comfortable and clean. Definitely will stay here again when in the area!
