I end up here annually and it never disappoints. Nothing like arriving worn down, to be treated like royalty for your stay. Everything you need in walking distance, and the beach view from the windows every morning. But, this was my first time booking on hotels.com, and i didn't realize that the resort fees and parking fees weren't included so it was added to my bill at the end of my stay and it was an unexpected charge for me. But knowing that this is my go-to, it was nothing compared to the experience of staying there. I'll be back first quarter next year. Might be back in the fall this year too!! It's just perfect.

After checking in the room key didn’t work so trek back to front desk to get it corrected Happened 3 more times. Annoying, inconvenient and a complete waste of time

We tried to pay to upgrade but they wouldn’t let us upgrade because they said it was through a third party. We called the desk as well and they weren’t helpful in getting us a room.

The location was excellent, although weather was too chilly and rainy to enjoy the beach. I did take advantage of heated pool one evening - it was wonderful! We thought $35/day parking fee was rather excessive, also, when we got our receipt when checking out, an extra day was added to parking. We told person at desk and fee was refunded. Also, coffee machine in lobby was excellent!!

We have stayed there many times over the years. Now it's time for a major refresh. Nothing has changed over the years, and it shows. The rooms used to be stocked with various snacks (included in the resort fee). Now nothing. When I asked, the person at the counter, he said that now the resort fee allows you to make your own coffee. $35 for parking and $30. for a resort fee is out of hand. Also, the lobby bar is no longer in use. It is just a big empty space. As the only real hotel in the area, it makes no sense. I hope a general redo happens in the near future.

I was very disappointed to find I was charged $35 after my stay for parking. Expedia listed nothing about a required valet parking fee-only the resort fee. When arriving at the resort, I asked if I could park myself and the Valet said no it was valet only. He did not mention any charge. There was NO signage stating their was a charge. At the front counter, I never signed anything agreeing to a parking charge. I called and spoke to Anthony on 1/3/24 and would not remove the charge for me. The room was overpriced for what it is, and to try to fleece customers for another $35 with no option to self park is dishonest in my opinion.

We found an apple core under the chair in our room. It had obviously been there for awhile. Shocking given we had to pay a $150 deep cleaning fee for a 10 pound dog that sleeps in a cage. Bathroom could also be cleaner.

The staff couldn't have been nicer and tried to be extremely accommodating. At no fault of the staff-my complaint is with the room. The room was small especially the bathroom that my Husband 6'6 couldn't fit in. The room had a burn hole in the floor and stains on the chair. For the costs associated with a resort and fees charged, I was highly disappointed with the room.

The hotel was beautiful . I thought I booked a hotel room with a balcony and a bigger room. Our room overlooked a construction site and I'm sure one of the smallest rooms in the hotel. This was a very special occasion and I paid more for this stay because of that. I don't think I will be booking through Hotel.com again

This is such a nice hotel! Park the car and enjoy walking or using the free bikes to get around the adorable town! Staff is fantastic! Free quality coffee and water. Right on the ocean! My favorite hotel in the area!

My daughter and I had a delightful stay during the recent hurricane/tropical storm. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was very quiet in the Hotel; we could not tell there was a storm in process. The building was obviously safe and well built
