Our room smelled like dirty feet & the smell coming out of the air unit was bad. Housekeeping came in once in 7 days & switched out towels & made our bed. Never swept the floors or cleaned anything. Breakfast was good & great ladies working. I would not stay here ever again!

Great stay, the greeting by the front dest was pleasant. He has a great sense of humor! Wonderful staff, all were friendly. The ocean view from our room was amazing. The room was big very clean and everything worked.Surprisingly good breakfast. We highly recommend staying here.

The hotel itself is what you would expect. Elevator was a little slow and one was out of order so everyone had to use one. Clean, okay view. My only complaint (though a big one) was that they over booked and I was informed the day of that I did not have a room. At first they claimed that there was a maintenance issue and then later admitted that the hotel was overbooked. They "did their best" to accommodate. I ended up stay in a cheaper room with rollaway beds and was told there was a possibility of a partial refund but there was noone there to approve that. Even though the hotel was adequate, I did not appreciate having to play phone tag and nobody being able to give a confirmation on a solution until i arrived and it was too late to find somewhere else to stay. I won't be staying again but if you are willing to risk it or are more flexible about what room you stay in vs what you paid for, its not a bad option.

This is my go to on St. Augustine Beach!! It’s walkable to everything!! It’s clean, the breakfast is good, and the staff are wonderful. Vanessa, at the front desk is always a welcome sight during my visits. She’s always so happy and ready to help. I cannot say enough good things about her and this Hampton Inn. I always look forward to my stays here on the beach.

I stayed here while visiting St. Augustine. The hotel is ver clean and pet friendly. It’s also conveniently located near several restaurants while being only a short drive from the historic center. My only complaint is that I had to request housekeeping to clean my room and the service included a change of towels. It is my experience that housekeeping usually includes a complete room cleaning as well as making the bed.

Everything great. Check in was smooth Bathroom clean and wife loved the tub anti slip rug. Very smart. Last hotel there was a slip accident in the tub because they did not use any safety measures. Great thinking here.

This was a nice hotel and had good service but I had one complaint; when we booked the room it said there would be a microwave in the room but there wasn’t and I travel every month with my 9 year old son. He is very picky about food so when we pick out hotels for each trip we only pick rooms that have a microwave. We would not have stayed at this hotel if we knew this to be the case. Not sure if this was an error by Hampton Inn or Hotels.com but the small details like this can make a major difference in travel plans. We stay at a lot of Hampton Inns and use Hotels.com all of the time plus have a Hilton Honors card and membership as well and have never had this problem with the room description being inaccurate until this trip. Please update room description!!

THE MANAGER HERE IS AWFUL so rude and condescending. His name is Travis Dotson and I have never had an issue handled so unprofessionally before. The hotel is nice and clean, we had a nice beach balcony view (a few minor issues but not worth a bad review) but the BED was absolutely horrible. It was think and hard and lumpy and the fitted sheet and cover didn’t fit properly so they kept coming off exposing the mattress and bunching up. We’d tried to get through the night but around 230am decided we couldn’t sleep there and would rather get up and drive an hour home. Downstairs, the gentleman at the desk was super nice and apologized and said sometimes they do get that complaint. Called today to speak to Travis (mgr) who LAUGHED at my husband and called him “buddy” on the phone saying “that’s what you people do” meaning leave and want a refund. We asked for a partial refund or credit to a future stay when they resolved the problem. We were offered Hilton points at the end of the call. We got married at this hotel years ago. Stayed there and loved it. Will never stay there again. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY there are nicer places with much better customer service on the beach.

My sister and I had a weekend getaway. Check in and out was super easy and the front desk clerks were wonderful! Breakfast was decent, coffee was readily available and hot. The rooms were nice and clean. My only complaint is the beds were uncomfortable and seemed old. Other than that, we had a lovely time and would definitely come back.

Had balcony room no lock or bar on sliding glass door. Said they had coffee, tea or hot chocolate 24 hours. Coffee and water wasn’t hot at 6 pm. No smoking allowed but people in the next room were smoking pot and smell filled our room.

Great location, property was in ok condition but the room was dark and outdated. Had a beautiful view but the balcony is cheaply done with 2 pieces of plastic furniture. Needs some design inspiration. Lastly, powdered eggs for breakfast doesn’t cut it.

This was a last minute change in plans and the staff was extraordinary. Every worker in the hotel had such amazing kindness and were willing to go the extra step. DJ at the front desk made a very difficult evening much better with his willing to be so helpful and friendly. The lady in the breakfast area was also so accommodating and greeted every guest. This hotel runs well because it has great staff!

Late gettin in that night. The agent was a good guy. Very accommodating. Next morning the agent extended my check out until 12 as the check in at my rental house wasn’t until 4. The manager agreed to let me hang at pool until house ready. Didn’t need to. The house became available when I checked bout at noon. I appreciated their generous offer.

Great property right on the beach. Traveled with 4 kids ages 3 to 13 with my husband. Had room 307 which had a pullout couch that accommodated our family of 6, also looked out to the beach and right below was the pool! Easy walk to the beach, pizza place just down the street walkable. Island donuts right next door but didn’t need to go since this place has an awesome hot breakfast. Pool was clean w a working hot tub. Quiet and quick elevators, granted we stayed here in the middle of the week. Friendly staff, easy parking. I don’t travel very often without my husband but this place would definitely be a place I can see bringing our 4 kids on a weekend by myself. Will likely stay here again. Beach access in the back is “closed” due to hurricane damage but hopefully will be fixed soon. Either way, still walkable. Cold ac, great blackout curtains. Fairly comfy beds. Plenty of fluffy pillows. Snack bar at front desk was nice to purchase last minute beverages and snacks in the middle of the night (pay premium tho). Felt safe the entire time there which is a big plus for families w little ones. Glad we picked this place!

Booked a double queen but ended up with full size beds. AC wall control didn't work and we figured out day 2 that you could still control it at the unit itself. "do not disturb" sign was not in room and house keeping came day 1 and left the door open when they left. Luckily nothing was missing. Great location and everything else was your typical Hampton Inn, but I'll probably would have stayed at the Garden Inn next time

Staff and location was great. But unfortunately at almost $300 a night was quite dissatisfied. The first thing walking into the bathroom there was a broken tile laying on the floor, part of the wall. Coat rack had a broken piece, you could hang things on if you wanted to risk breaking it the rest of the way. Evrytime it rained water filled the windowsill and top of AC with water. The window was unable to be opened at all which added to a horrible smell we started getting, from wet beach towels that wouldn't dry, because there was zero ventilation in our room because the bathroom fan wouldn't even work. The dust built up on it was quite gross as well. We will not be back to this or any other Hampton inn, in the future.

I love the people that run this hotel. Everyone is always so accommodating and genuinely nice. This is my go to place while in St. Augustine. The hotel is clean, in a great location, and the breakfast is good. The beach is beautiful and you can’t beat the free spacious parking.
