breakfast had a variety of choices - our room was spacious and clean beds were very comfortable for our one night stay. stayed here to be closer to multnomah falls. will def stay here again.

Fitness center in picture is not fitness center they have. Staff was friendly. Air conditioning doesnt go below 66. Thats not comfortable to have a room that hot. Staff was great though. Located near plenty of restaraunts.

Pool was “closed for remodel” gym was no good also closed the second day for remodel. First room I was given was 88 degrees with a broken thermostat. However the front desk exchanged no problem.

I called from New York, looking for a room for my son and daughter-in-law due to the power outages and ice storms and from the very first moment that they answered the phone they were wonderful and accommodating. Luckily they had rooms available and my son and daughter-in-law stayed there for a few nights, and it was just perfect for what they needed and only within 10 minutes of where they live, we were able to get some documentation emailed back-and-forth for Credit Card authorizations and unfortunately I forget the woman’s name but she was wonderful. Thank you so much.

The property was under construction, so not very inviting upon entering. Website didn’t mention anything about current construction going on. Was looking forward to use of pool/hot tub after day of travel but upon arrival found out pool and hot tub was unavailable for use also due to construction.

Property currently being renovated. Room was half done. Window shade, but no curtain. Could see outside and did not feel the shade gave privacy. Bathroom light switch cover/plate was missing. Door frame looked as though it was prepped for painting, but not painted. Bathroom door frame painted very sloppy. Paint on adjacent wall. Shelf in shower was wiggly. For price paid per night, I feel like we should not been assigned a half finished room. If all renovations in each room are completed, should be a decent place to stay.

The hotel on Expedia said there was a pool and hot tub and they were closed and I booked this hotel for my granddaughter could swim and she couldn’t and at 7 years old that was a big deal

The hotel was remodeling...so there was a bit construction, but upgrades to the rooms were complete, per the desk clerk, but the shower control/diverter in my room didn't operate to design standards and the faucet on the bathroom sink was loose....substandard fixture setting by the plumbing contractor in my opinion (retired inspector with 27 yrs. experience, btw)

The remodel did not factor into my review. The sounds from outside; freeway, truckstop, and airplanes made it difficult to sleep. People walking and talking in the hall was like they were in the room. Possibly look into better soundproofing, or sealing around the door. Housekeeping knocking on the door every morning at 9:30 was a bit invasive, as well. They should have a print out of which guests are staying longer.

Rooms were recently remodeled and beds were comfortable. There was still construction in the lobby but it wasnt unbearable. Housekeeping came by everyday to see if we wanted our room cleaned up. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Close to eateries and an outlet mall.

I wish we had known it was mid remodel when booking. Carlos at the front desk was GREAT! So helpful and sweet, he made the stay worth it. All the dust made my allergies go crazy but its nice that the property owners are doing a remodel to make things nicer. I'm looking forward to see how it turns out. Hot breakfast is always a plus. Conveniently located down from the outlet mall & Troutdale food trucks, also had a Shari's in the parking lot. I love that there were actually enough towels ans pillows in the room. Housekeeping came after 1 night to refresh! I always love having a mini-fridge and safe in room.

My daughter lives in the area, and I visit frequently. I had no idea about this Holiday Inn being practically next door to her. I liked the price for a weekend rental, but always unsure when it's too cheap. I was so pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, friendliness and amenities there. Check in was at a perfect time (and I always check out early), the reception was amazing, friendly and fast, the room was clean and the bathroom was very clean. I only stayed two nights, but I will remember to stay there next time I'm in town. Thanks for being there.

There was hotel remodeling going on that was not mentioned. Debris and other signs of construction was abundant around the property. There were a couple bugs / spiders observed in my room. I am usually happy with this hotel chain, but not this time.

The room we stayed in had a water leak and had a strong mold smell and water seeping around the bottom of the toilet. The room is also across from the maintenance office and an air compressor would go off every 30 minutes or so. The hotel was sold out so there was no other rooms available to be moved to.

The lobby is in renovation however when you get to the room everything is brand new. We had some problems to find it. It is next to truck station. Highly recommended.

Didn’t like that the hotel is remodeling and no notification on Expedia or from the hotel. Front desk is still putting customers in the rundown worn out rooms. Recommend offering full price for remodeled room or half price for a room that has not been remodeled. Also my king bed turn into two queen beds. Very poor support from the staff and hotel.

when i booked this site and also refered it to others in my party. 3 sets of guests. nothing was ever said they were remodeling. hallways were left dirty construction going on during the day. help was so so. my room had no information in it. was't able to get my chair in the room to work. i give it a 4 out of 10.

I had a great experience with the staff and the room! Everyone was extremely kind and helpful and the too was clean and comfortable! The only complaint was that it was difficult to walk to and from the hotel as there were no sidewalks leading to and from the hotel. But aside from that it was a fantastic stay!

This property is worn and in need of serious remodel. Also, the area is a bit dicey. Food choices minimal. I would look elsewhere. Stayed at lots of Holiday Inn Expresses, so nothing to do with the chain.
