This Hotel is one of my favorites! It’s an oasis 20 minutes outside of Portland..Absolutely unique and beautiful..The staff are super nice and welcoming..It’s like a European vacation

Love McMenamins and Edgefield is the best - location, atmosphere, extensive grounds, variety of spots to explore, eat, drink and be merry. The soaking pool is exceptionally nice!
Most staff are great - some are aloof. Friendlier staff would be nice. We did a pre-check in on our phone, which was great, but when checking in we didn’t feel noticed much. Nice but not a warm or attentive welcome.

The rooms were very tired and in need of renovation. No A/C.
