Didnt realize you had to ask for room to be cleaned. Thought the sign was still be used qhen you hung it on yhe door. Other than that itvwaa a good stay.

Unit very clean Convenient parking & access to the room In unit coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave Breakfast served everyday was good, limited seating in the breakfast area, however you can take your food back to your room.

Great place to stay, roomy, clean, reasonably priced. The bed could have been a little more comfortable, but that can be expected when you are not in your own bed. Great location, outlet stores and walking trails nearby.

Location is convenient to family located in Folsom area. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast and coffee available in the mornings. Have stayed here several times and quality is consistent.

This was our 2nd visit to Larkspur Landing. We enjoy having a nice room and kitchenette which allows us to make our own coffee without leaving the room. It was a little noisier than our first visit but it was a Saturday night as opposed to a weeknight but we will make a point of asking for a top floor room next time and one with windows away from the parking area. While very clean, we could tell that things were getting a little worn and tired but the bed was still very good and and the arm chair still inviting. It is our go-to place when visiting the Folsom area.

We had a nice stay here while in town for a family event. The property is clean, the front desk clerk was friendly. I liked the coffee station in the lobby and the ice cold orange water urn.

We always have a good time here. Really close to Lake Natoma and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Rooms have a kitchenette also.

My daughter and I wanted a special weekend getaway and thought Folsom with its lovely lake, historic downtown and outlet mall would be perfect. We chose Larkspur landing due to the spacious and comfy suites convenient location, free breakfast, and excellent reviews. We were very happy with our choice!

The property was quite nice...once we found it. It sits on the rear edge of a strip mall with spacious parking for the stores but very few spaces for the guests, unless we wanted to schlep our bags a distance. The pictured greeting wall was nowhere in evidence unless it was by the road (and not near the hotel); Google got us into the lot, but we went in circles twice before following a pickup truck thru what looked like the dumpster yard. The lobby and indicators of it were dimly lit. (It was only 7PM) The receptionists were both knowledgeable and helpful. The billing is odd: our Visa account showed the $100 security deposit, but today only a $10 amount was shown without a + or -. We'll see if there's an adjustment. ROOM: spacious, but the bathroom could have received a couple extra square feet. Also an exhaust fan. Facilities worked well. BREAKFAST: a little more items than in most hotels but no hot foods, unless you count beverages. STRIP MALL: I guess it's the business conditions, but at 8PM Monday only a dessert shop, taco stand, Desi supermarket and a multiplex theater were open. With a some walking or a short drive, other stores were on adjacent blocks.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Convenient access to the American River Trail for cyclists. As with most properties we had issues with the key cards and the door latch into the room needs repair but otherwise no issues and would recommend this property to other travelers.

The hotel room is very comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is more of a grab and go, not a lot of options or places to sit but we don't eat a lot in the AM so it wasn't a big deal. The only drawback is not a lot of parking that was available close to a door. Otherwise an enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel has a sort of cozy/home feeling to it. It was quiet when I stayed, which I enjoyed and the staff was so nice! I came to visit my fiancé and the hotel was so conveniently close to him! It was great!

Staff was great and very friendly. The bed was not comfortable at all. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The maid was very pushy about checking out. Between 8am and 10am she asked if we were checking out three times. I told her noon the first time.

The complimentary breakfast was decent. The staff was helpful and professional. Plenty of parking although some vehicles took up double spaces. Located close to restaurants and shops. The rooms are outdated and our room smelled of strong animal urine. We had guests above us that were very loud and heavy walkers/stompers. So obnoxious at all hours day and night.

Nice property. Quiet. Pet Friendly. Lovely lady at front desk for check-in. Cookies and coffee in lobby. All good. Only downside was the bathroom. Very small, one sink, curtained shower/tub. No fan or ventilation. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Would probably stay again despite bathroom.

I liked how the staff fixed my clogged tub drain quickly and I liked the location. I didn't like the price and the breakfast. I think a remodel of rooms are due to justify the prices. Overall very nice staff and safe and quiet location. Thank you

On first glance, Larkspur seemed charming. However, you definitely need ear plugs unless you enjoy listening to the shower and toilet in adjacent rooms. There were other recurring noises at night, but never figured out a source. The big disappointment were the sheets. I can't remember ever sleeping on such scratchy sheets. If they even had a thread count, it had to be in the low 20s. No excuse for scratchy sheets.

75 dollars for your pet in a so called pet friendly hotel. Hall way carpet had many huge wrinkles, easy trip on. breakfast was very limited. LOUD cleaning staff early. Locked front door at 9 30 a.m. which means it wasnt safe around the neighborhood. A parking fee Old hotel needed work.
