This was the worst hotel experience I have had in 20 years, and as you can see from my profile, I stay in hotels frequently without incident. My family booked this hotel several months ago to proactively secure accommodation for my son’s basketball tournament. Although the staff was friendly and accommodating, the condition of the room was poor. There was clearly a previous and current leak from the shower that has caused water damage to the floor and wall. Mould? The majority of the electrical outlets didn’t work, including the one in the lamp base in the nightstand table - a fact I only observed when I discovered my CPAP machine to be intermittently shutting down throughout the night. We were assigned room 104 - very close to the main lobby and clearly (based on the noise) in the middle of a block of rooms of a hockey team and a gathering of people in their late teen/early 20s. When I went to call the lobby to complain, I discovered the room phone was not working. Then, of course, were the expected issues. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. The pool looked like fun, but it was so overcrowded, I was concerned about my kids’ safety. Breakfast was ok, but eggs were so runny, they were inedible. No fruit at all. Lastly, there was the unexpected issue. We found a tooth - yes, a tooth! - on the floor of our room. I absolutely regret booking this room, and I would recommend anyone looking to stay here, to throughly search the area for alternatives prior to booking.

Average hotel, would have been no issues but we got a room with a sliding glass door to the outside, husband locked it, thought everything was fine… then in the middle of the night a random man opened the door and came in! Turns out the lock is broken. Front desk didnt seem to care when we told them.. Im just glad I wasnt a solo female staying in the room..

Room 166: The room stunk like very stale cigarette/cigar smoke, there was significant water damage on parts of the walls (don't even want to consider the mold), the heater made ungodly amounts of noise, the room was so dusty and dry, I'm still coughing a week later. The only redeeming things were that the bed was comfortable and there were no bed bugs.

We had to come to town from 4 hours away for a funeral. Everything started at 2, check-in started at 4. We contacted the hotel the day before to ask if we could check in early so we could change. They were very accommodating, noted our reservation, and told us to call the next day from the road to confirm. They were able to give us the room for 1pm, no extra charge. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure was great. The pool and hot tub were the perfect relaxation at the end of a really long day. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff was present if anything was needed. 11/10 for customer service.

Was not great since i had booked a Non smoking room. The room I got had smoke smell. When I addressed the situation to the hotel staff due to my health issues, they checked the room and said it was ok. I pointed out about the cigarette butt in the room. I asked for a different room but they said it was fully booked. It was for one night and we were there for a tournament. Disappointed that the hotel was not accommodating. I was not feeling well and the hotel did not even bother to offer any compensation. Would not recommend staying there.

The front office staff were very polite and courteous. The dining staff (for breakfast) were less so but probably understandable as there was a lot of guests asking for more food at 9:45am when breakfast ends at 10:00am. This was not the guests fault either since if you advertise breakfast until 10am people are going to expect enough food at least right up until 10am. It felt like a lack of communication between office and restaurant since the hotel was full of guests who were there for a boy's hockey tournament and some of use were there for a concert and the shortage of prepared food seems to be an oversight. The building itself and our room were decent enough (we were just there for 1 night) though the overall appearance and feel was that the building could use some updating. All-in-all it was sufficient for a family who literally came back from a concert to sleep and leave the next morning.

There was a strong bleach or ammonia odour in the hotel and my room. Since my room was quite far from the pool, I think the cleaning staff should dilute the bleach when cleaning. Since I was on the 1st floor, I did not open the sliding door to air out the room at night. I prefer to sleep cool but the A/C was noisy and made sleeping difficult. There was water damage on the ceiling and some plaster on the floor below. The bed was comfortable. I have stayed here 3 times now. Unfortunately, there will not be a 4th

We had excellent service. There was a mix up with Expedia that caused us to be booked in to the wrong room. The staff were very courteous and took the time to investigate the problem. They did their best to accommodate us with a room that slept the number of people in our family, which was a challenge as there were also 4 tour busses checking in at the same time. They were also very kind to our children as we waited for our new room to be prepared. We can not say enough good things about the evening staff. Even the waitress in the restaurant went above and beyond to make our kids feel welcome. It is nice to have the option of a warm breakfast included with the room too.

We are always coming back here for the balcony and the closeness to our home. I don’t want to down the place but things everywhere are going up in price. So to start off our room looked like it had been redone i till u take a closer look. The colours were changed and the tv size is bigger but and a big BUT the balcony had lots of chips on concrete, bathroom door is old and chipping all over it. The shower head has water spitting in all directions, the water is hard to get it to a comfortable temp without burning you. The water fills up in the bathtub as you shower, there is no fan in the bathroom, toilet want filling up properly would get stuck and have to wiggle the flush handle. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was small and some was in and out of the restaurant. Didn’t taste good either no real seasoning you can only watch live tv and not use Rokus apps. Buckets of water dripping in different hallways.

Most of the outside was under construction and there were tiny styrofoam pellets on the ground. The entrance I was told to use was blocked by scaffolding . I was very relieved to open my door and find a clean, bright and attractive room. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great sleep.

Old and well kempt. Asked for a quiet room to be able to sleep before a very long day. Wax put in a room next to a club or something with loud music non-stop. Was already 11 pm when I managed to convince the front desk to move me to a different room.

The bathroom had paint peeling. There was construction all around the building. But the worst part was the air conditioning sounded like a car engine. Four times throughout the night I was woken up by a sudden screeching. It was not a normal noise like when the AC rumbles on. This was an actual roar and screech like an engine. I cannot fathom how it cost me almost $400 to spend a night here.
