Breakfast buffet wasn't well furnished... And when I arrived and tried to register, there was nobody at the desk, I had to call and wait for 10 min. to see someone and register.

First of all, they told me that a Capital One card was “not acceptable” but then said they would make an exception this one time. I’ve had this card for 6 years and not once have i had a business tell me they don’t accept it and I’ve even used it on airplanes. Secondly, the key to the room didn’t work and I had to keep going back to the front desk to get them to redo it but even after all that it still wasn’t working and they had to just give me another room. Thirdly, the sheets were stained and the drawers of the dresser and nightstand were dirty with items still inside left over from previous guests. Furthermore, there were not enough pillows (only 3 pillows!) and the breakfast could use serious improvement. They also still had Christmas decorations up in the breakfast area (it’s March!). Also a very strange layout with the sink being outside of the bathroom. This hotel would be ok if you’re in a pinch and need a place just to sleep, but beyond that, it’s nothing special. I probably won’t stay here again.

Friendly and really easy check-in and check-out. Very spacious room and clean. Beds were very comfortable but should have mattress covers and not just simple bedsheets. Shower was great but no bodywash or conditioner. Only downfall was tv only had 2 channels. As for the breakfast, good variety of bagels, toasts, snacks, boiled eggs, delicious waffles but no fruits. Juice and milk was from cartons instead of dispenser. Coffee and hot chocolate available. Unfortunately there was no napkins and no one around to refill. Would recommend it for short stay.

Stayed here for 1 night as travelling through. Room was extremely large. Bed was comfy and clean. Everything we needed was there (ie. towels, face clothes, soap etc). Beautiful new shower tub. TV worked, wifi great! Expected a very small breakfast and was surprised at the selection for continental. Hot and cold options with details all there like butter, jams, cream cheese etc. Thank you 👍PS. Just came from a hotel in Manhattan for 4 days and we had to constantly ask for things like towels, Kleenex, toilet paper. Great job Econo Lodge👍

I wasn’t happy that my coffee machine did not work. I asked on two separate occasions for a replacement, to no avail. Although in both situations I was told I would get one.

We stayed in unit 101 and the lid on the toilet seat doesn’t stay up! We had to use a towel hanging over the back to keep it in place. Super annoying.

The location of this econolodge was very handy for what we wanted. The fridge in the room freezer was so frosted that there was no room to put anything in it and the fridge froze our water. That hair dryer did not work however they were quick to get us another when asked which was appreciated. both days needed to ask to have breakfast room replenished... and then still no napkins The staff was very friendly and very cooperative. . it is an older lodging

We arrived at the "hotel " and were greeted with an empty parking lot and no lights on in the building. Our cell phones weren't working, so I was not able to call them. We ended up at a very nice hotel down the road. I am requesting a full refund for this hotel. Please advise on how you will be handling this.

The bathroom is dirty behind the door and on the heater. There was no hot water in the morning. We let the tops run and run and run and run. Finally got warm, but not hot enough to take a shower. There was no conditioner and our key kept not working outside on the outside door and on the inside door. There was no hot breakfast.

It served it's purpose on our way to Cape Breton. Easy off the highway. Close distance to downtown and walking trails. Staff was kind. Room was clean. Breakfast good to get us moving forward on our journey.

There is a kitchen sink and a big counter in the unit as assigned. It is super convenient with the micro wave. Of course the restaurants are close by too. The scenery of the location is very nice! The parking is just outside the room!
