Really lovely comfortable room. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. They had really thought about what their guests might need and provided everything from soaps to earplugs!

Nice hotel about 27 miles from Yosemite NP. Walking distance to nearby coffee shop, steakhouse, western wear store and other amenities, Staff was efficient and friendly.

The front desk clerk was very welcoming and friendly. The room was really clean. Bed was comfortable, had a restful night. It was quiet. My husband and I are definitely considering this place when we take another trip to Yosemite.

This is a nice comfy hotel. The beds were super comfy, it was warm, easy to park outside. The freezer door was missing on our fridge meaning everything in there froze up, but other than that everything was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location is nice.

Very kind and accommodating service. A typical lower budget lodge, but clean and the bed was comfortable. We like places with a door direct to the outside, motel style, because we travel with a service dog. A couple of good restaurants within walking distance and the old town area is western fun. Mariposa over all is a lovely place and a good jump off stop to Yosemite. Thank you Mariposa Lodge.

Booked this place while doing an econo road trip for a couple days. Price was really great and was only an hour drive away from Yosemite. The staff was really nice and polite, both during check in and check out. The bed was super comfortable , they had amazing lighting in the room. TV is small as it said in the description, but that wasn't an issue for me as i was only there for the night. I got parking right infront of my room, but it seemed pretty packed when i arrived at 11pm at night, and seems like a first come first serve, so u might not be so lucky. Overall great stay

The room smells a lot as soon as entering. There are a lot of stains and dark spots on the carpet. We reluctantly stayed there with uncomfortablness, unhappiness, and regrets for booking such a horrible lodge.

Clean motel in central area of Mariposa easy walking to many food locations. We had RV and they let us park in front of office. One bummer was the pool is not heated too cold to use.

This was the cutest little property. Perfect location near Yosemite in such a cute little town. We walked to dinner. We got there late so didn't have time to explore the town, but looked so cute with shopping. I hope to stay here again. We had hummingbirds right outside our door, the place was very clean. I loved it. Very impressed.

This property was cute from the outside, but the overall cleanliness of the place was horrible. We found hair and eyelashes in our sheets. They offered to change rooms , but the manager said absolutely not and kept us in the same one. Once they finished changing the sheets, we continued to look through the room. The drain to the shower had hair in it, the tub didn’t drain. We decided to just go without showering , since we left the following morning. The towel they gave us to put on the floor of the bathroom had hair on it as well. Seems as though their turn over for rooms is less than adequate for the amount of people they have. Overall the younger staff was quite friendly, the manager herself gave us the cold shoulder and shooed us out when we asked if there was a possibility for early check in, since we’ve never been to this hotel before in particular we always ask just because we had been driving throughout the night, went to the Yosemite, and came 45 min earlier than expected. I’ll not be coming back here, but hopefully if you do book with them you have a more pleasant experience than I did.

Good for the price, nice room, great location, easy to park, nice staff. The only thing is that you could hear a little bit the noise from the other room and in our fridge there was food from the previous guest.

I choose the Mariposa for Yosemite. This place had great review and affordable good price. It was very clean and nice staff. The most I got impressed was how much thought about their guest as their own. Usually I don’t expect bedding in small town lodge, it was great as double priced hotel’s and different 5pillows each bed I can choose for. ear plugs for incase 8 can’t sleep I didn’t needed. I sleep very well. Very considerate.

We stayed here for a night before heading to Yosemite and it was very convenient. There are a good amount of dining options (Pony Express is great for coffee and a quick breakfast) but the town is pretty quiet. The property itself was a bit dated but clean and comfortable, and our room was spacious.

Staff was okay, but the condition of the concrete walkway and steps leading up to the 2nd floor is quite DANGEROUS (concrete is cracked, chipped in places and slopes downward at the stairs). Additionally, the carpet inside the room we stayed in was damaged in a couple of spots (threads were pulled up and/or missing).
