This place is not bad, but it's not great. High deposit, small TV, kinda raggedy.

It was very clean, the service was great, however they have issues with heating and air-conditioning. Apparently they turned off the heater and the temperature outside was 38 degrees. I asked for soace heater they were all out. Now im totally sick.... anyway i guess if you stay there keep that in mind.

The room was semi clean, bathroom wasn’t. It had heat and air so that was good. Beds and pillows were horrible. Had to go buy a pillow and a foam mattress cover just to be a little more comfy.

On April2nd @ 4:40Am The Lady next door Knocked for 20 minutes before she was let in , then. @ 3:30Pm She was throwing things from her Balcony onto the Ground While Cussing and Screaming at her Husband/boyfriend

Floors didn’t seem like they had truly been cleaned. Bathroom was the same way, only about halfway done. One thin blanket on top of the bed. Key card had to be reprogrammed every single day. Truly pathetic. Two stars is being very generous!

You get what you pay for. The linoleum floor turned my sons white socks black, the bed was awful, tv was small and fussy cable channels, the entry door to the hallway didn’t work well and after being shown “the trick” I still couldn’t get it to work- extremely frustrating and the curtains to the HUGE patio door and windows, didn’t touch the ground so there were bright lights coming in the room all night long. I slept maybe 4 hours and I was only there to sleep after driving 7 hours and to drive another 7 the next day.

Please don’t stay SMELLED , Dirty, tv did not work , bed was very bad . Heater did not work have to check out early cause it was 30 degrees in the room . The office did nothing to help us told us we would have to pay for another room , they said they would note are acct, bull crap STAY AWAY

May have been cleaned but it looks run down and dirty. And then the bathroom. No fan so black mold all over the ceiling and tops of walls. Probably not safe to breathe in. Some updated plugs with usb ports would be nice. And if no carpets, the floors get wet after a shower and take a while to dry. So either more towels to go to sink area with. A rug for wet shoes. I mean some area matts or rugs, turn them in like towels after every stay, and something you can throw in wash and dry easy. Keeps them nice. And shoveling the path from parking to office and salt to keep me from falling on my ass from ice. And maybe a plow. Can’t happen very often it’s needed, so I’m sure it’s in the budget to clear the parking lot.

First of all we walked in and it took more than 5 minutes to check in. We go to park our car and the parking lot looks like a dumper. Pizza boxes, balloons, just trash. We walk into the building and it smells like an ashtray! The halls were full of cigarettes butts! We decided hell may be our room is okay? Wrong! The room smelt like an ashtray! There was blood on the pillow case. Bathroom has 💩 On the wall under the towel and the shower looks like someone dumped oil in it. We decided to just leave and tell the front desk. He said there was no other room available. We tried to call hotels.com and was on hold for so long we decided just to find another place. This was a nightmare!!!

Everything was like a normal stay until the end when they said well, we seen your girlfriend smoking on the porch because there's a non-smoking room, so yeah, she was smoking around the porch, they said, well, you're not going to get your 100 all the deposit back and she was smoking outside on the porch. So they tried to finally my $100 and I made them go check the room right then and if there was gonna be discrepancy on me getting amount of dollars back I was going to fight it but, they definitely will try to take your 100 at all deposit for anything. They should have said something like if you're gonna smoke. Go to the parking lot or something. Because not smoking on the outside porch is kind of ridiculous. In my opinion but they're just trying to get your money.

The evening registration gentleman on 2/8/24 was excellent. Check in took all of 2-3 minutes, from finding my reservation in the computer thru assigning a room, rules and regulations, WiFi, parking, room location, to handing over key cards he was professional but friendly, concise, efficient and informative. I did not have to ask a single question, he covered it all effectively. One of the best motel check ins I have ever had.

TERRIBLE property !! First off they had bugs or something in the room that i was in i got bit on my forehead & it's HUGEE ! Secondly the heater didn't work , we might as well have slept with the patio door wide open & it was SNOWY outside so you know it was extremely cold ! The room was DIRTY & simple things like dirt marks & stuff that could easily be wiped clean with a disinfectant wipe on light switches & stuff ! there was no charging port in the room because someone had ripped it out , then when i explained my concerns to the front desk lady she laughed at me & told me that there was nothing they could do. i was FURIOUS !! please use this place as a LAST resort ! in all seriousness this place was disgusting .

BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS
I checked into room 616 around midnight on December 1, 2023, had a busier day than anticipated on the 2nd and had to extend my stay. On the morning of the 3rd, while turning off my 5 AM alarm, in the faint glow of my cell phone light, I saw little black spots scurrying across my sheets...BED BUGS!!! I have pictures and videos of the incident in room 616. Upon making my discovery of the BED BUGS, I was able to kill 3 of the BED BUGS, and brought the dead BED BUGS to the front desk to show them and check out. The BED BUGS didn't seem to phase the counter person, I guess it's just another day for them. When I asked for a refund I was given the run around along with a 1 800 number that could offer me points instead of a suiting compensation. It may be cheap here, but there's better for less in the immediate area. God Bless

They don’t have esrly check in, they don’t offer it even with a extra fee! Housekeepers are so slow, they received an "update" of clean rooms at 3pm! Their check in time is at 3pm. So if u are hoping to get your room around 1 or even 2, don’t even think about it.
I know it’s cheap! But I was hoping at least to get a room early with a extra fee like other hotels do. Well whatever, I hope they will pay me back my 100$ deposit for a night after this review. lol

Book here if u want to be treated poorly. You will be considered no show if your bus is delayed, have no phone service and only able to message hotel from message system which specifies that you give hotel few days to respond that way they can treat you as a no show, you see?

Please don’t stay there. I don’t know what happened it used to be one of my favorite places to stay in Reno. Poor management it seems they don’t care about who’s stays there anymore we had a terrible experience lots of noise after hours people walking in and out of their room slamming the doors,smoking and drinking on the stairs didn’t stop till 3am I notified the management they didn’t care and tolde they can’t do anything about it. Super dirty room found some roaches in the room

Its a decent hotel if price and availability are important to you short notice. The room was warm when I first walked in. Everything was clean. Its not a 5 star hotel, its the Econolodge for a reason. But quick and easy to get a room. Centralized in town. Has a laundry room (and 2 laundromats across the street), Sprouts supermarket and plenty of restaurants in walking distance. If you're into walking, the main casinos in Reno (Cal-Neva, Circus Circus, Silver Legacy etc.) are like a miles walk North. Overall 4 stars for me

Towels weren't all that clean, and the general condition was sub-par at best. Blankets had cigarette burns in it and was very thin, pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. I'm not sure if the heater worked or not. Sink faucet handle was loose, and the surfaces had not been wiped down very well at all. There was a very visible palm print on the TV, and drink rings on the night stand.

The property is only 4,989 steps east of the Reno airport. Great location in the mid-city area of Reno, which is full of drink and restaurant choices and not far from the Reno Convention Center. The motel is a throw-back to another era but was a great value for the price. Not sure the heating-cooling system was working, but given the Reno weather this time of year that wasn't a problem..

The property is good only the owners are not keen on cleaning. The rooms are dusty not very well kept, the balconies also not that clean. The lighting in the room needs to be improved, the bed lights don't work. The place is very convenient, they should just improve on cleanliness and it will be perfect.

This is definitely a budget options, and for the price reasonable. But two things, the heat in my room did not work (it was unseasonably cold). I asked for extra blankets but no dice. I made a mistake on checking out and was charged $100 even though the room rate was $64. I found the staff surly and unhelpful.

Requested room on ground floor because of mobility issues and difficulty handling luggage. The ground floor is down one flight of stairs which is exactly what we needed to avoid. Very inconvenient.

The ac doesnt work. Thete was blood on the light switch. Everything in disrepair. If I ever get a booking like this again from you. I will never usebyour service again. My room is filthy.

What an awful experience with this property. Attempting to reach someone at the front desk on the phone was impossible. I called for many hours to attempt to make a change in my booking, and nobody would answer. When I finally got in touch with someone at the front desk, they could not help me without the general manager's approval. I was never able to get the general manager to reach out to me after multiple follow-up attempts. This hotel does not value guests. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service and responsiveness from them. We do multiple bookings a year in the city, and all future booking will be done with other hotels.
