Dropping our son off at SFSU, the hotel was the perfect location, and we were very pleased with the front desk service, room and lobby cleanliness, ease of parking, and breakfast service at this hotel. We will stay here again every time we need to come to SFSU. Front desk was efficient, professional and polite, facilities were clean and well maintained, and the room left nothing to be desired. The hot breakfast was amazing, wide variety and well stocked. Also close to the freeway and plenty to eat in the area. 5 star stay all around.

The rooms were spotless. Small details show the management really care about high quality. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms smelled clean (no smell). I only wish the breakfast had real plates and cutlery. Overall, I was so impressed with this hotel. I will stay there again.

An upgraded and quiet room made for a comfortable night. Free parking, a full breakfast and friendly, efficient staff made for a very enjoyable and reasonably priced stay for us. Definitely will stay here again on our trips into San Francisco.

Nice hotel. The bed was comfortable, the shower was large and nice, the towels were good too. Parking was free and easy. The breakfast was good. Overall a good stay ( 2 nights). There were a few things out of order (ice machine on our floor, media room). I discovered after checking out that booking directly through Hilton/Hampton would have saved me money.

If you are fine to stay a bit away from San Francisco central Area, this is a great option. It's 15 mins drive to downtown. The hotel is clean, safe, walkable distance to few restaurants, like IHOP, In and Out. They provide coffee and tea througout the day, and fountain to refill water. Wonderful free breakfast.

The hotel was nice it seemed on the newer side in terms of how the room looked. The only downside is the parking. Yes it’s free parking but it’s very limited. I had to park my car on the street due to no parking in the lot which I was not happy about since I just bought my car. Breakfast was good it was nice with the little options there were. The shower pressure was okay and the bathroom toilet seemed like it also had low water pressure in terms of when you flush

SAFETY ISSUE! VERY DISAPPOINTING! MAKE SURE YOU ASK IF THE DOOR IS FIXED BEFORE BOOKING! Hampton has been our second home since my daughter started college in 2018. It’s the only hotel I trust- clean, safe, and very friendly staff! This is the first time that I had a concern about safety! When we came in on the August 18, we were in the parking lot getting our bags from the car, when a man pulled the door to the hotel open without using any key. The door flung shut quickly. I got curious and tried it myself. I pulled the door and it flung open!!!!! No need to use any key! Here’s the worst part! We went inside, and the guy who went in rushed out and pushed the door open without turning the handle! THE DOOR IS LIKE A SWING DOOR!!!! SAFETY CONCERN! I don’t think it’s new, the guy seemed used to the routine Of yanking the door to get inside and pushing it to go outside! Yet when I told VANESSA about it she seemed shocked and concerned! Here’s the disappointing part, when we checked out at noon the following day, NOT FIXED YET! I ASKED THE FRONT DESK, the guy replied -THEY ORDERED THE PART! It’s a SAFETY CONCERN , YOU DO NOT WAIT FOR THE PART-YOU GO GET IT FIXED THAT SAME AFTERNOON! TSK TSK!
