The breakfast we had both Saturday and Sunday was cold and not appealing at all. My husband’s eggs were barely cooked. Very disappointing.

We stayed for one night as a family in the hotel in March. This is an old mansion being renovated with modern convenience. The architecture is amazing. The room is comfortable offering great sleep quality. The breakfast offering is small (chef offers two options and you choose one) but is gourmet level. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

The service was excellent, the staff were extraordinarily kind, patient and courteous. The staff seemed to go out of their way to assist in any way needed. The accommodations were ok. The room was old as was the building despite updates. If one is expecting ultra swank, don’t book here.

This place is a total gem! Great service, comfortable rooms, and such a cool historic building. Lots of great touches like robes in the rooms, nice toiletries, jacuzzi tub, complimentary drinks and made to order breakfast. Not to mention it’s in walking distance to so many great cafes and restaurants. Will definitely stay again

I was nice - but got little sleep due to many noisy late quests returning from 11 pm to 2 am in morning. Breakfast was very limited n not as explained when we arrived.

The Mansion lives up to its name: It is an exquisite, very large vintage home in central Buffalo that has been lovingly remodeled to create a beautiful and enchanting hotel. Apart from the enchanting building and well-appointed rooms, the expertly trained and truly wonderful staff are the stand out feature of The Mansion. They are great: Knowledgeable, generous, courteous, and genuinely helpful. And if that isn't enough, they probably serve one of the best "cooked for you" breakfasts on the planet. Each day, you have a choice of a few different breakfasts. You put in your order, and in a short time you get a beautifully prepared and truly delicious breakfast. This is what staying in a good, old-fashioned hotel is all about!

Staff was great! Small touches like the complimentary evening drinks, robes and made to order breakfast were nice. However, the "supreme" room I paid for left me underwhelmed. No curtains, no artwork on the walls... Please note there is no mini fridge or microwave in rooms.

This is a beautiful hotel with kind and attentive staff. Thoughtful amenities. Would recommend to anyone staying in Buffalo- location is also very convenient to local restaurants and Key Bank Center.

What a fabulous hotel! We stayed in a queen suite with fireplace (gas) andbit couldn't have been more comfortable, relaxing and romantic. Staff was friendly, competent and engaging. I wish had stayed more than one night. I could not recommend this hotel more...

This was our second time staying at the Mansion this year. Our first trip in October was great and just as expected our second trip was AMAZING!! The people are friendly. The atmosphere is great. The butlers are so friendly and really made it a joy staying there. From the welcome back and simply asking what your plans are for the day, they make you feel like you’re more than just a guest. They make you feel like you are at home… I can’t remember everyone’s names, but Danny and Lucas always made sure we were taken care of….

Lovely, historic repurposed mansion. Check in was smooth but we had to wait quite sometime for our room. (Not sure if we were early. Expedia showed checkin at 3 pm.). Can’t really complain though as the wait was next to a crackling fire with plush sofa seating and complementary gourmet coffees and tea. Staff were terrific. Very pleasant and responsive. Though the room was comfortable, it wasn’t the type of room that was pictured in the photos for that style of room. Minimalist in decor, it was a disappointment in comparison to the photos I saw online. I have to say the room was smaller than any room I’ve ever stayed in in either downtown Chicago or New York City. Pretty surprised. For a single night stay it was fine though it was priced high.

This is a glorious old building, and the staff is well-versed in its history if you are interested. I wish I had been there for more than 1 night, and I will definitely return upon future trips to Buffalo. Exquisite in every way, this place made me feel like the protagonist in an old movie. Pure Buffalove!

Staff was very friendly. Room was nice but we had a discounted rate. I would not have been happy paying the regular rate for what we had for the night. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

The Mansion is a great historic boutique bed and breakfast in downtown Buffalo. The Mansion itself is gorgeous with amazing detail in woodwork, a very unique place to stay if you want something other than a typical hotel stay. The rooms are average- bed, tv. The bathrooms need updating and a deep clean. Cozy robes and slippers provided. The Mansion offers a breakfast- you choose one of two options. Both are good but small portions and no bacon/sausage/toast offered. The bar area is great- one free drink per night. Would be nice if some late night food could be offered at the bar with drinks. The staff get to know you and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Cade and and Danny are terrific! Parking across the street is convenient. The Mansion is centrally located in downtown to bars, restaurants, tourist attractions, and an easy day trip to Canada. We very much enjoyed our stay!

The building exterior is beautiful. Being greeted by front doors that open automatically added a touch of elegance. The interior was pretty but showing signs of wear. Our room was a bit disappointing. The heater fan was loud and woke us up throughout the night. The bathroom had a geriatric feel. The best part of our stay was the friendly staff and the chocolate chip cookies.

What a wonderful hotel! Our family of 5 stayed in 2 rooms. The property is a beautiful historic building, inside and out. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. We were treated to a complimentary drink in the evening and a delicious cooked-to-order breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay here again and will be recommending to friends & family.
