Beautiful hotel with top notch amenities. The hot springs and jacuzzi bath tub made it feel like I had purchased a spa weekend that was included in the price of the stay. For a few dollars more than a Hampton Inn or Hilton Garden Inn the Curtiss is a 5-star hotel that makes guests feel like VIPs and worthy of its luxurious amenities and surroundings.

Beautiful hotel a bit over priced. Vehicles are parked off site so you have no access. Very noisy area, fridge wont keep anything cold, furniture was very stained and there was several children in the roman bath. Staff is very friendly and helpful

It was our anniversary and we wanted to get away from the kids, we planned a night to stay at the hotel and paid for late check out so we can order room service and stay in bed. Unfortunately, when I called in the morning room service was unavailable, so we had to get up and go downstairs for bagels and muffins… No hot food available

The property was filfthy. Had to change rooms several times. Staff was angry with me for changing rooms. The last room was horrible too, but it was so late, I had to go to bed. Would not walk outside after dark. Would never ever stay here!

Beautiful Hotel located in the Downtown Buffalo Area and close to everything. It has a hot spring right in the ground floor. From the Check in to everybody it is truly beautiful inside out to the valet parking. Truly a must in the Buffalo area.

Third stay at the Curtis hotel.I love that it’s close walking distance to a great brewery and whiskey bar.very disappointed that the hot springs were closed due to maintenance which from the other reviews seems frequent, and was the primary reason we chose this hotel. Cool details inside but breakfast was disappointing in that coffee had run out early without replenishing

I stay here 3 - 5 nights at a time, often during their peaks (thanksgiving week), which is probably unusual. I’m thrilled to discover the Curtiss as my perfect respite space when visiting family in Buffalo multiple times a year. Ultra-technologically savvy rooms, fantastic showers, and a tranquil upscale ambience make the time with my parents and extended family even more enjoyable, because at the end of day I can escape to this wonderful place. To the ownership- Well done. Please continue to invest and maintain your facilities.You have a beautiful hotel in a challenging city for hospitality outfits like this. I appreciate you.

Great hotel. Rooms were affordable, clean and well-equipped (hi-tech shower and toilet!). Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel bar was nice (friendly and informative bartender). Free continental breakfast was good. The only negative is the location—not a great part of town, although close to cafes and some good restaurants.

I like that many restaurants are around and able to walk close to many sites near by. I really don’t like the pricing they set in this hotel not including eggs for breakfast or other items that shouldn’t effect their revenue on the price you pay here.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly and responsive staff. Had to valet my own car (a Hyundai) but not charged for it. Room was smaller but clean and comfortable. 6-head programmable shower was incredible, and the bidet feature very cool. Rooftop bar was nice. Indoor/outdoor hot tub pool was huge & incredible. Great location downtown.

The hotel was beautiful! Staff was very helpful and friendly. A throwback to flappers. The bar was fun and rotates - not sure why but unique. The rooftop bar has and outdoor and indoor space for a good view The urban spa/sauna was wonderful after dancing at a wedding all night!

Full disclosure: This was my first time staying at a 5-star hotel so my point of reference should be taken into account when reading this. My partner and I stayed at the Curtiss for our vacation just to relax and get away (we love Buffalo). The Hot Springs were great. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom... oh the bathroom. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The complimentary valet is great. It's within walking distance to some of the best restaurants and breweries we've been to. If I were to critique anything, it would be a little more attention to detail. For instance, in the Hot Springs, there was a piece of the faux-grass wall that was becoming detached and was like that for our entire stay. A light bulb in the entrance way was out for a few days. A part of the fireplace at the rooftop bar was falling off. Don't try to use the touch pad to order Ice for your room or call the valet. Fruit flies in our drinks, but that can be a problem anywhere you go. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend anyone reading this to stay as well.

What a special hotel Curtiss is! Just beautiful! We loved our room, the hot spring, the bar. Staff were all very helpful. Amenities were great and the area is quite populated with things to do. We would definitely stay again if back in Buffalo.

The Curtiss is a beautiful property with lovely rooms and service. We have stayed before and loved it. The urban springs are lovely. The shower is out of this world. The beds are very comfortable although the pillows are so thick (and all are the same ) I woke up with a neck ache. This time the bathroom had some kind of air freshener that smelled awful. The restaurant area is beautiful but the breakfast itself was disappointing. The few free offerings were unappealing. The items for purchase were limited and quite expensive. We ended up going to Spot Coffee which seems silly after spending so much on a hotel.

What a hidden gem or just a lucky break for a hotel in downtown Buffalo NY. The place is gorgeous the room was fantastic, ESPECIALLY THE BATHROOM & SHOWER!!! Restaurant was good and we are just sad we didn’t have time to get in the hot springs spa!

Best rooftop bar with scenic lake and city views. Rooms are beautifully decorated,bathrooms beyond compare with high tech toilet that has heat and bidet options. Pillows and matresses comfy. Breakfast has many options. This is our 4th time staying at the Curtiss, will definitely be back!!

The overall facility was very nice! The staff was very attentive with making sure we were comfortable. It’s more of a place for couples. The only draw back was I purchased a double bed room online and found out they do not have double bed ones.

The place could use some cleaning. I stayed there 4 years ago when it was newer and time has definitely taken its toll. It's not like it's bad, but you can tell they must have a hard time retaining staff to do the physical plant maintenance. Front desk staff and parking staff were terrific though. Food in the restaurant was great at brunch.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel and I can't wait to go back! Everything is great. All the workers were really friendly and our room was really clean. The hot springs outside with a little bit of a mess. It looks like the turf was peeling off and it just kind of felt a little falling apart. But we had a great time and whenever we needed towels or robes everyone was there right away! Thank you for a wonderful weekend and hope to be back soon!
