Self check in was a breeze. The hotel is very nondescript from the outside but beautiful once you get inside. The wall paper on the stairs reminded me of Suspiria. The large room was decorated in a fun, over the top sort of way. The bed was super comfortable and the room darkened enough to not wake at first light. The shower was large and tastefully designed....and having creamers for the coffee in the room was a great touch. Parking was appreciated but not assigned and I did get the last spot. I loved being walkable to Forest Lawn.
The only reason I knocked it a star is the checkout. 10 am check out felt a bit like rushing the guest to leave. Standard is 11 most hotels (I travel a lot).

Beautiful fancy decor and jet tub was a great addition. The cost was very afordable aswell. Bed was extremly comfy and pillows where firm but soft! Plenty of parking and great size room!
The 1 knob on the tub came off as well as the shower knob. There was a moldy thing on the bottom skirt of the bed. There was 0 extra towels. They said none till checkout time the next day. The tub also had tape over a hole where something fell off.
