A unique opportunity to stay in a piece of Buffalo history. The restoration to this amazing piece of architecture is worth seeing in person. Only stayed one night, but service was good and continental breakfast was quite good. Beautiful grounds to walk around.

Absolutely love staying here - only qualm is no fridge in the room, but this is easily circumvented with a cooler and a bag of ice. We always love our time here!

Really cool place in a great setting and lovely location. Close to galleries, restaurants and a massive park area to explore. Rooms are a bit smaller than I expected but the beds are comfy and it's got all you need. Double check that your bed has a mattress pad on it and that the shower gel is full.....but recommend for sure!

The architectural details are stunning. As is the history behind this beautiful building. We stayed in a queen size room but it was quite tiny. There was a huge spot light that shone in our room all night. Even with the blinds closed it was incredibly bright. Why they would have placed us on that side of the building is beyond odd? The hotel was empty. Barely a car in the driveway and we never ran into another guest the entire stay. Upon first glance, it looked like an enormous blood stain on the carpet. I’m not convinced it wasn’t. There were two of us and they only gave us one small bottle of water. We wanted to enjoy a cup of coffee in our room in the morning and they left us two decaffeinated coffees and coffee mate. My husband then went to the lobby to fetch a cup of coffee but it was abysmal. We dumped it immediately. They gave us exactly two towels and the hairdryer barely blew air. Our meal and servers at the hotel’s restaurant were absolutely lovely. Natalie is a star. The cocktails were delicious as were our pasta dishes. I would highly recommend the restaurant. The hotel? Not so much.

My stay at the Richardson was very pleasant. Parking was easy, and the front desk staff were friendly and informative. The whole building is gorgeous and very historical without feeling "dingy". I had dinner with cocktails at the bar and it was delicious. Overall a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

The hotel its self was unique. It was really nice - the rooms were a nice size and the ceilings were high, staff was polite. We experienced a driving ban during our stay and it was unfortunate not to have vending machines or a place to purchase snacks, drinks as the bar had a very limited menu and the prices were very high and hours were limited however the staff was nice

Hotel was beautiful and grand. The architecture was stunning. The food, signage, and hospitality were adequate but did not meet my expectations.
