The check-in was extremely slow as there was only one person handling check in, phones, etc. (at 6 PM). The pool and hot tub were closed, apparently long term.

All area's were nice and clean. Refrigerator did not work but it was replaced with in an hour after check-in. The mattress was worn out. Hope they replace worn out mattresses before our next hiking trip.

We got to the Inn early and were told to wait until three because they had a busy day. OK no problem except when we did checked in they gave us the wrong room which later found out was our brother in law reservation not ours so we had to which rooms. Everything else was good the staff was friendly and had no further incidents.

This hotel was in very poor repair. The toilet was clogged when we arrived and the bathroom sink didn’t drain well. The blankets on the end of the bed were also dirty. Most of the chairs in the pool area were broken. I would not return here.

Clean, comfortable, affordable hotel with friendly service. Very convenient location to JTNP north entrance and all kinds of restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations. Would stay here again.

Clean, comfortable, spacious and reasonably priced. Only knock on the facility or service was the absence of a guide to TV channels either in the room or readily available via TV remote. Added attractions: a good Mexican restaurant on premises.

Needed a last minute place to stay and got a room here. I didn’t expect much from this older hotel but it’s been so well maintained and had the kindest employees. Absolute no frills but comfy and clean!

We stayed for 2 nights while exploring Joshua Tree. The hotel is convient to the entrance but is slightly further from restaurants and such. There is a grocery store next door. Staff was pleasant. On our second day, i noticed the coffee maker had not been washed. I washed it and made a fresh pot of coffee. We also didn't have any kleenex so I requested it at the front desk as we headed out for the day. Upon returning, I went to have a shower and noticed a used soap in the shower; neither of us had used the shower yet. I immediately called the front desk (realizing that several things had been missed while cleaning the room before we had taken possession). They were very appologetic and reassured me they would talk to the staff. Because of these oversights, i would not stay here again.

It was our second time staying here and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Pet friendly and close to the twentynine palms Joshua Tree National Park entrance. Pool and hot tub was heated our first trip but just the hot tub was heated the second time we went.

Family of two adults and four kids... The double queen suite included two queen beds and a pullout double bed. We also pushed together two armchairs to make a small twin, and the front desk gave us another set of sheets. Everything was clean and decent shape, for the price paid was a solid value, especially for the area so close to Joshua Tree. We didn't experience any issues with the front desk as some other reviews mentioned. In fact, they were helpful with the sheets request. All was easy and as expected or better.

It was a fine base camp for our visit to the park. No frills. They didn’t even have coffee in the lobby. Our toilet was clogged and they handed us a plunger. On the plus side, the staff was friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was great!

Not recommendable. Not very clean, with plenty of dust on some surfaces and dead insect in corner. Carpets are in dire need of replacement, including the one in the elevator. Service was also not very good: two sets of towels for three people, tissue box empty, and obvious traces of toothpaste from previous guests on the bathroom faucet.

Accommodation was excellent! Our room was perfect. The location was great for going in and out of Joshua Tree National Park. Our room had a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker, of which we used all three. The manager was accommodating and gave us good suggestions for local places to eat.

Comfortable, spacious, clean room at reasonable price (we stayed in the 2 Queen suite). Hotel is secure - need key to use elevator & entry points. Didn’t like that they required to take pic of everyone’s ID (is this a new thing?) AC is blowing air but not cold at all. Clean sheets but bed sheet can be replaced (can see thinning in some large areas). Carpet & decor is outdated.

Clean tidy hotel in a clean vines area to drive to Joshua park in the am ! They initially gave me a room outside the laundry room and when I asked a manager to be relocated due to my light sleeping she found me a quiet upgraded room at no extra charge ! Great service

It's a few days before Christmas, no staff onsite, I had to step to the next door to another hotel to check in. And the entire time, I don't see any staff, we hesitate to use the pool or the hot tub ... it's kind of weird. The shower of my room didn't work properly, water is not hot in the shower. it's a different experience and I probably won't book again.

There are no staff in the hotel, the restaurant is closed and has been since the Covid pandemic. Thank goodness the hotel next door front desk checked us in and gave us a key to our room. It felt a bit unsafe staying in a hotel with no staff. I would not stay here again.
