We have stayed in this hotel and it was comfortable. However this time the room we had was in need of some repairs and updating. The toilet continued to run after flushing, the fixture above the sink was just two open fluorescent tubes, tacky! Greeting by check in staff was pretty bland.
I will probably try a different place next time.

The complementary breakfast was mediocre. It was the basic same items everyday. For the rate or the room you don’t expect an extravagant meal but at least some variety form day to day.

My group was only staying 1 night for some local snowboarding. Our check-in was effortless and our room was spacious and comfortable.

Super clean and modern. Beautiful bathroom, everything worked, great breakfast. Going back for a second night.

Second time we’ve stayed here and won’t be back. If you stay here bring earplugs, as the sounds from neighbouring rooms is loud. No sound proofing between floors either. Crying kids, and Elephants staying in the floor above.

Just ok. Bed was clean. Sticky room floors for some reason. Terrible WiFi. Toilet chain got stuck so had to do a little fix. Dem toilets are OLD. Sometimes, things just need to be replaced.

Location, comfort of bed and spaciousness of rooms are very good. All that we need. Breakfast offerings are modest but sufficient.

Clean and comfortable beds but we had extra people and needed the pullout, we had to pull the mattress out and put it on the floor because the bed support part was broken. Otherwise, good space, decent pool and breakfast is ok except coffee is weak.

It was a good place for travellers just needing a rest. Walls are thin so you can hear others above and beside you. Breakfast was poor and the older gentleman at the front desk was not a very hospitable representative for the Ramada brand.

Exceptional front check in and greeting. Very clean and modern hotel. Great pool and spa. Average area but had a car anyway and two great restaurants. Would stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights while skiing at Kicking Horse. Hotel was on the main highway so you have to drive to get to the town centre of Golden. Breakfast was decent (toast, sausages, cereal, etc.) but was the same everyday and not inspiring. A fruit salad and pancakes or waffles would have added that little extra. All plastic cutlery which seems wasteful and cheap. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. We had a fridge but it froze everything so wasn't all that helpful. Staff were courteous and professional. The hotel was okay overall but there are other options for this price.

The staff and breakfast at the hotel were commendable, and the cleanliness of the room was satisfactory. However, I found that the rooms on the ground floor were quite noisy, which was a downside considering that hotel rooms are expected to be soundproof.

When I walk into a hotel, I usually get greeted with a hello - the woman on duty the day I arrived completely ignored me for a good five minutes, she was reading something but she saw us - there was another woman behind the desk, she didn't acknowledge us either. When the check in clerk decided to help me, she asked, yes what do you want? My husband and I had been standing there with luggage for the past 5 minutes - I think she knew what we wanted. The whole transaction went through without any pleasantry. No smiles or anything. I thought she was quite rude. As for the room it was good for the money. The pool was fine and the housekeeping staff at least smiled and said hello. We were there 4 nights and only one of the front desk staff smiled and said hello in that time. He was on duty in the evening.

Our bed obviously had not been changed. When we pulled back our sheets it was soaked and the front desk staff came up to change it for us when we asked. No discount was offered to us despite communication with the management. Very disappointing and we will not be staying again. We picked Ramada because we thought we’d have a better experience and based on other reviews in comparison with other hotels in Golden however this was extremely disappointing.

The lady at the front desk was very rude to talk to. We were standing at the counter for a good 2-3 minutes to let her acknowledge us but she didn’t even look up and when she did she just walked towards the office at the back.
