The staff was absolutely phenomenal but we would never stay here again. The room was awful: dishwasher leaking at check-in, sheets were missing, toiletries were missing, the HVAC unit was broken and our room key would only work on one exterior door - which was very inconvenient and made for very a long walk in the rain to get breakfast. There was also an overwhelming amount of marijuana and cigarette smoke/smell - this wouldn’t have been issue except we specifically booked an area that was no smoking.

Room 209 carpet ripped at connections to tile, couch noise, not stopped in bathroom sinks, ground floor floor broken and covered with carpet, noise compressor on refrigerator and heater and no hand on the refrigerator. Need more?

The neighborhood is "rough" & seedy ... to say the least. Be careful, especially if venturing to the local shopping center for food, etc.. Little management or supervision. Food services marginal. Positive ... hotel van made itself available to provide transportation to businesses or restaurants in the immediate Germantown area.

I thought the kitchen was a great asset, with kroger next door, the place was clean with the exception of a bug that I saw crawling under the bathroom sink, the staff was great.

We showed up at 5:00 p.m. and had to wait an hour (maybe more) for them to clean the room before we could get to our room. Once we got in the room, the air conditioner couldn't get the air down below 76 degrees and the toilet had piss in it.

The overall property is okay. I gave a 3 star rating because I booked and picked my room in advance. I picked the king suite and it’s only 2 on the property. I checked the floor plan and all to ENSURE I wasn’t near an elevator or ice maker. I get there to get my keys because the digital one was faulty and the lady tells me they changed my room to the one room I didn’t want. I didn’t have nowhere else to go at the last minute so I went with it. I get in the room and it smells wet and like mildew. And speaking of mildew it was all in the shower I had to ask my friend can I shower at her house so basically I paid for the room just to have somewhere to sleep which I couldn’t get much rest due to the FREAKING ELEVATOR. It was so loud and obnoxious. Definitely won’t stay here again.

We chose this hotel because it advertised a kitchen, but there wasn’t an oven and the kitchen was difficult to walk in. The dishwasher won’t open fully because the door hits the refrigerator. Had to ask multiple times for fresh towels and then still had to go to find someone because housekeeping wouldn’t bring them. They also only provided 1 trash bag for a 5 day stay. The bed was comfortable and clean and the location was convenient. The front desk staff was very friendly. We would probably stay here again but we would definitely have to make adjustments to our plans.

There was used soap in the shower, trash in kitchen trash can, dead bugs on the wall, and food on bedroom curtain. People are nice. Having loud outside doors with no softening cusions sucks, keeps you up through the night. Beds are comfortable, pillows too, and AC worked wonders!! Breakfast is a 2/5... bagels were dry. Overall hotel is decent. Just minor issues. And cleanliess can be worked on.

Staff was great. Grounds could be better. In room needs improvement. When we pulled out the pull out bed it was full of urine stains on the old sheet. Sheets had not been changed and there were no sheets for pull out bed available. I went downstairs to get sheets, had to wait a very long time but front desk found me some sheets- they said they did not have any pillows. While down there, I met another guest concerned with cleanliness. He said his pull out bed had blood and urine 😩. Overall nice location with potential- just needs some attention to detail.

The staff were delightful, both at check-in and at breakfast. The down side was that there was mold in the shower…ugh! For the price we paid, that shouldn’t be an issue!

First off you’re greeted by a lovely lobby and our hotel reps were friendly and greeted us warmly. Told us the ropes and the best place to park for our room. Once getting in the room we were pleasantly surprised by it. It’s got a cute kitchen a bedroom with a door (which is great when traveling with little ones) and a pull out sofa bed. The sofa bed was dirty though on the inside. The sheets had not been changed and there was trash (and a vape) inside of it. And the hook in the bathroom was falling out of the wall. But overall the room was nice and the fridge was clean.
Breakfast was a hot breakfast and good at that. They ran out of some things quickly and had to substitute but that’s okay. We really enjoyed our stay and it was about 30 mins from all of our stops. (Zoo, Beale St, Bass Pro, Ikea)

I liked how my suite had a very apartment like feel. I appreciated how some of the workers were helpful. However, there were other workers who did not help me get the items that I needed such as Extra towels and extra pillows. I had asked three times and the person who gave them to me when I first checked in and did not have an extra pillow. What I feel like that needs to be worked on is making sure items are replaced in rooms properly, such as lights and fixtures. Another thing, is having a new type of trolley to be used instead of the one they have because it was bit worn down. As well as, having more options when it comes to breakfast. People want to be able to know what they are eating instead of having to guess what it is.

Room was not clean. Reservations were for 2 people with only enough towels for 1 person. Wifi did not work at all. And person a few doors down had dogs that kept barking all night. Key cards does not work and had to kepp getting them reset. Just an awful experience

The lobby was nice, but the rooms were not clean, they were worn out, the back door to the hoteldidn't lock, you had to go outside to get to the lobby, which is covered.

First the good staff very pleasant and helpful but breakfast poor, doors into building didn’t work, trash can full on arrival, run tap for 20 mins for Luke warm water and blood stains in the carpet - not a cheap stay and really not value for money and just to add to the disappointment people running around the corridors until 3.30am - sounded like a party

I did not like paying a $100 deposit to cover any room damages that I would be liable for. There was a damages coffee table in the living area of the suite when I arrived so obviously this system doesn’t work.

I've been working long hours all year, finally get time to take my wife and kids on vacation, we drive 6hrs to homewood suites Hilton Southwind in Memphis Tennessee. After driving 6hrs we're ready to start making some memories let's shoot some basketball, stretch our legs, no rim on basketball goal as in picture. Well let's get our swim trunks on and go swimming, pool has green algae on bottom and leaves floating on top, pool is closed. I'm not happy at all after spending hours researching hotels for a basketball goal and a pool. Let's go workout, weights are missing and treadmills don't work. Toilet won't flush in our bathroom, holes in wall, shower curtain rod rusting on the bottom, drain has green/blue stuff growing on it. No clean dishes. List goes on and on. I'm extremely disappointed that HILTON would even put their name on this place let alone advertise it. Please feel free to call me 812-686-1109, Charles Webb

Our room was not ready until after 10pm. I know they were short staffed, but I waited for over two hours for them to clean my room. There was only two other people in front of me and I don’t know how it took them 2 hours to clean 3 rooms. The staff that was there was polite but needs better management. To focus on our rooms instead of all the 50 rooms that were not occupied would have been nice.

This location is not comparable to other Homewood Suites we have stayed in. Very disappointing! We changed rooms three times and still not a great room, but better than the other two.

While the front desk staff was very friendly, my room was awful. The fan in the bathroom sounded like an unbalanced washing machine spin cycle, the bathroom floor was sticky, curtains off track and hanging down. The room smelled like chemicals. Mattress and pillows were awful. Not restful at all. I definitely would not stay there again.

I was traveling with young children and a mother who is in a wheelchair so when I found this place I was in heaven... 3 king sized beds and handicap accessible... SCORE. However when I arrived, my room had been given away. My reservation was booked months in advance so to arrive to this I was less than thrilled. When someone books a handicap room it's more than likely because they need it. They tried to put me in a conjoining rooms but they were not accessible rooms. Also, there was only 1 king bed in both rooms and then a pullout bed big enough for one person. Trying to get kids to share that be was a nightmare the remainder of my trip was horrendous as they were uncomfortable and could not sleep. Driving 8 hours on little sleep was awful. I have never been so upset at a hotel.

The only thing my family and I like about the hotel was the layout.
The whole hotel had a smell to it. The pillows had a smell. We kept seeing dust mites. When my fiancé cut on the shower the water came out brown. The room didn’t have a garbage can.
