The location of the hotel is so convenient with the shopping area and tourist spots. The buffet is really good. The problem is our room, we have the suite room with a roof top view but the shower handle is defective water dripping on the bathroom when you shower going to the bedroo’s carpet. I could smell the mugginess around the room and its seems like I would breathe molds on the walls.

I loved the ambiance of this hotel, the location, the accessibility to water transportation, restuarants and sites around the city. I highly recommend Hotel Casanova Venezia to anyone, individual, couples, and families.

Lovely property however had a bad experience with Americans next to our room being loud and disturbing us two nights out of our 3 there so was disappointed that the hotel did not deal with them appropriately. There is no way they did not hear them. Or next time do not put a mother and and a daughter next to group of young people partying

Just perfect location behind San Marco plaza and at the corner is San Marco Giardinelli vaporetto stop. From there you can roll your luggage to the hotel. Many restaurants around. Walkable to Rialto bridge. Quiet at night. Excellent buffet breakfast. Rooms are clean.

This hotel is in an excellent location right off of Saint Marks Square. You are close to many wonderful and historic locations! The hotel is very nice inside.

Quaint classic hotel. Our room was on the fifth floor. take elevator to fourth and then stairs a floor up. The wifi was weak and unusable. Bathroom was clean, room was nice size and had a cool view of the streets below. Breakfast was good with lots of cakes. It's only steps from San Marco square and very convenient to get to the major attractions as a first time tourist.

I have booked Junior Suite and in Expedia photo it had hardwood floor however one we landed had dirty yellow wall to wall carpet old fabric wallpapers and was nothing simillar to one displayed on Expidia when we booked. We complained to hotel management and they gave us different room in the morning, much better but still however still no hardwood floor but yellow spotty wall to wall carpet. Room is spacious with nice furniture. beds are comfortable and bathroom was in withe marble and clean. Daily cleaning and great breakfast. However i was very disaponted because I booled pricy room with hardwood floor that Expedia showed I booked and it was not even close to ot and not worth the price we paid for the room. Avoid! False advertising.

This was a VERY neat place to stay in Venice. It is just a short walk (2-3 blocks) from St. Mark's Square. It's the only place in our 10 day trip to Italy that had breakfast (more than just a cornetti!). The cafe across the street was awesome for late night snack or a beer while we waited for the girls to get ready!

Location was good but the staff was very rude.
If you're considering it, I'd recommend you to keep looking. They're pretty unwelcoming and one ends up staying away from the hotel just to avoid dealing with the front desk respresentatives.

The hotel is in a great location and you can reach most locations in 10 min. The staff were friendly enough and the breakfast was typical fare, nothing special. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the rooms is awful. Our room never got cooler than 25°C and the room for our daughters never got below 24°C. This temp was okay during the day, but due to the humidity, it made falling asleep difficult. The bathrooms have no ventilation so it’s always humid and hot.

Hotel is clean staff very helpful. Breakfast included was amazing. Anything we wanted apparently was available from the hotel with a smile.

The hotel was awesome, the location was so handy to everything. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast food was also wonderful, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Three thumbs up for sure 👍👍👍.

This comfortable, well-appointed and stylish hotel is about a 45 second walk from St Mark’s Square. The Vaporetto is just around the corner. It’s brilliantly located for striking out into the heart of Venice.

The location is the best part of this hotel. 3 minutes walk to Saint Marks square. The breakfast which was included was a nice addition. We had booked the Suite with the two bedrooms. It was on the 5th floor. Only surprise was that the hotel’s elevator only goes up to the 4th floor. You would have to walk up one extra flight of stairs to reach the room which would be tough if you had a lot of baggages. The rooms and beds were comfortable but as mention in other reviews already, the room ceiling is not that high. I’m 5’6 and my head reach to one or two of beam doors from the bathroom. So would not work well for taller guests.

We chose this hotel for the proximity to Marco Polo airport Venice for our early flight. The hotel offered free airport shuttle.
The room was clean and comfortable. Staff welcoming. However there was a major water leak through upper floor into our room when we were sleeping - we had to put out buckets. Then our morning shuttle was 25 m late, which caused us to almost miss our flight home - stressful and unnecessary.
There are conventional hotels - eg marriot right there as well - just thought we’d finish our trip with a unique stay. Not everything it should have been.

Best location near Piazza San Marco and luxury shopping. Literally a few steps from designer shops. Plenty of choices for dining and the staff, especially the lady at the desk, is very approachable and helpful. Will definitely come back to this hotel when we visit Venice again.

The location is great as its 2 minutes from St Marks. The hotel is basic although the room was fine. No real bar or restaurant. The breakfast area was full for our 3 days (different times) & we could not get a table unless for 2. The staff were available but not engaging or overly helpful. Basically the hotel is a good choice for location plus B&B but not if you expect 4* plus.

it is definitely not a 4 star hotel, it was the worst hotel i have ever seen in my life i do not recommend it at all i came to venice 4 times this was the worst hotel

The hotel is perfectly located and very nice. The room was large and the bathroom had plenty of space for two women. The staff was lovely with the exception of the young girl with the long dark hair and ridiculous eyelashes.
She was on her phone the entire time we were checking in and could not have given a damn less about us.
She’s a detriment to the front desk.
Everything else was absolutely perfect.

This was a horrible checkin experience and the bathroom shower leaked water throughout the bathroom which had our clothes wet. The floors stayed wet throughout the night!!

Liked location, walkable to all the sights, cleanliness of hotel, helpful reception staff, varied selection of breakfast, good sized room, well kept clean bathroom. Nice view from breakfast room, down the venetian street below, could see as far out to the Lagoon. You can step out to eat, sight see, shop in designer or independent shops all with in few minutes of the hotel.

Great location, steps to square, shopping and food. Victoria style interior, good size able open 2 big luggage. Good same breakfast daily such as scramble eggs, sausages, ham, croissant, bread. Only thing is no free bottle of water, they charge €2.50 if request. No kettle, no toothbrush/ toothpaste but they provide shampoo and bar soap. Overall we had a wonderful stay as it’s also carnival in Venice where many dress up like a party.

Beautiful room, clean, comfortable beds. Lovely breakfast. No kettle in the room but reception gave us a teapot of boiling water to bring up. Would stay again
