The owner is very friendly. The location is at the heart of Venezia. The owner was very helpful regarding where to visit, where to eat, etc.
Sharing the bathroom was not making us feel comfortable.
Lack of an elevator. Carrying our luggage to the 4th floor was a real torture.
We know the owner can not do anything regarding these problems. So we don't blame her.

Staff were lovely, great location, cute view of church from room, decor in room very calming and not traditional Venetian in a good way, air conditioning perfect. Free coffee in the morning, loads of full length mirrors outside the room
The plug sockets are a bit loose but staff are aware. There was quite an unpleasant strong cleaning smell in the bathroom and it was very hot in there ( bearing in mind it was extremely hot in Venice generally). Could benefit from air con. Recommend a good light and mirror near the desk too for darker days/ working/ make up

It is in a very cool old building. They have done a good job decorating the room and the upper floor has a terrace that you can view the city from.
The water was freezing cold. The hair dryer blew a weak, neutral blow and so didn't really work at all. The staff is only available from 8am to 2pm. There is only a sheet on the bed, no comforter. That may be because of a bed bug problem. We had bites all over our bodies after the second night. I am super heating our laundry and luggage to avoid bringing any into our home.
