The property is in great location, walking distance to main tourist attractions. The staff were wonderful and very friendly. We had to check out really early due to our flight and the front desk lady prepared us breakfast to go, that was super nice.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I made a mistake booking the hotel dates and although I booked non-refundable and couldn’t change it, the hotel was okay with me no-showing on the first day and kept my room. The location is good to visit the popular spots in Venice. The bathroom was clean and it looks like they dust well. There were bars on the ceiling that were painted white that could have easily been very dusty if they didn’t dust it often.
The odor in the room was overwhelming. It took a second to get used to upon walking in but my husband didn’t notice anything at all so I didn’t think much of it. I figured it was just the old building. Then we left the hotel and everything in our luggages now stinks like the room, and now that we’re in a different location he can smell it too. So bad that I could pick up the scent while wearing the clothes. I’m not sure what the smell is but it is not pleasant, it didn’t smell outside the room in the halls and lobby.
