Location was excellent, room was larger than most including closet space.
The shower had half glass wall and water would spray out onto the floor tile and was very slippery, had to be very careful not to slip

Wonderful location! Walking distance to everything. Regarding the staff, everyone treated us with excellent service, and were very friendly. We enjoyed breakfast with fresh eggs & croissants. As well the buffet offered many options. The water pressure, HVAC, elevator, etc were all working fine. As Venice is all about renovations, and converting to modern accommodations. Also, the hotel room was spacious and a very pleasant surprise! We enjoyed opening the window at night and hearing the gondolas passing by the hotel. What's not to love about Venice!?!
Most of the restaurant recommendations were right on, and appreciated. Except the sister restaurant was just average, however the location being right near a bridge was excellent. Drinks & appetizers are more their specialty. Unfortunately, the hotel room floor is not flat. I thought it was just me, and then our luggage started rolling across the room. Yikes! I suggest putting carpet or rugs in the rooms, as I do understand older buildings do have more settlement. Especially in Venice. Honestly, it was very apparent, and felt like I was on a boat. Since we weren't in the room very much, the issue wasn't worth our vacation time to move somewhere else. Besides we really enjoyed the staff, and other amenities.
