I stay here a lot and have never had a bad experience. Not going to lie The place could use an upgrade on the outside but the interior is well loved. From the Front desk Ladies to the inhouse maintenance Personal. They all make you feel like Family.

I booked this property because I was looking for a place to stay before a flight out of LAX, and a few preferred local hotels were sold out. I saw it was a large property showing its age upon walking to front desk- also noting that the property's fence had been smashed for a good 50 feet. The front desk was promising. The lady working that evening was very warm and welcoming. I noted that the Chevy Chase film Family Vacation was filmed here, and was filled with promise. ...that was broken once I opened the door to my room. The smell hit you- and when I went to the restroom, the restroom reeked of a mixture of feces that were not visible and I don't know what. The beds were very springy and not firm at all, and overall the room was one of the dirtiest I've stayed at. As a touring musician, totally not worth the $120 rate to stay at what basically was just a step up from a punk house. I was almost tempted to book a room elsewhere- DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This place is not what it is made out to be. If you like something cheap, dirty, smelly, and looks like dungeon, then this is the place for you! You get what you pay for, and believe me, it’s not good.

The Staff was nice, but beds tore up, slept on springs. The cleaning ladies need to learn how to clean bathrooms. Toilet was dirty

I reserved through Expedia and I entered the wrong date. I needed a reservation for Nov 25th. I immediately tried to correct and it was impossible. I was charged for a day that I did not stay at this hotel, nevertheless I am not happy. I will be deleting my Expedia app and will never make reservations through them. I am still without a reservation for November 25th

Room was stinky found a dirty suck and hair tie under need bed. Remote control didn't work and half of the furniture there was broken. Beds were hard as a rock. I took my own blanket so we didn't even had to cover our self with the bedding. Over all room was not clean, rooms don't have fridge or microwave. The patio area look good nice to sit and have coffee. Although based on how dirty the hotel looked I would not try to make coffee there. Staff at the front desk were nice and fast at providing service. It was an easy check in and out.

It doesn’t look clean in the hallway, very old building, needs some remodeling. They forgot to put towels in the bathroom. It needs small refrigerator.

Property has all gates closed but one so circled 3xs before found the one hidden gate open to enter. First room had leak and puddle in bathroom. Told reception they changed rooms and gave us a smaller stinkier room. Both rooms stunk musty both rooms dirty, not rooms hot af. Pictures are so deceiving! Biggest catfish hotel. Will never stay again

I’ve been in motels that were better and cheaper than this one. The beds are so uncomfortable, no comfort whatsoever. No soft bedding, just a hard flat mattress. It was pretty big but I just really didn’t like the beds and the limited TV show selections. Like I said, I have stayed in nicer motels. I won’t be coming back here.

Property was pleasantly better than I had imagined based on booking through Expedia. Beds were a little to firm for me, however I only stayed one night. Bedding and towels were clean, yet had permanent stains. Doesn't mean that they were not clean. The reception staff were great on accommodating my special requests. Would consider staying here again.

This property is a bare minimum hotel. No refrigerator, no microwave, and not even cable. The TV and remote is an absolute joke. The room keys require daily trips to the counter before 3 pm or you’ll need to have security come to your room to open your door for the night. The carpet is filthy as well.

The check in was a little slow but the lady was very helpful, we got into the room and it had a very musty smell. We went out for a while one came back to a huge bug near the bed.

no WIFI, no bar, no restaurant (as advertised). Had to do work on my laptop in lobby. Pool was OK. Premises very dated, it is still living in the era of the 90's when National Lampoon was filmed there, nothing has changed
