Hotel is nice with up to date amenities. They do have many fees therefore the price was significantly higher than we had anticipated

Great location, room was promised as premium but was tired especially headboard which was ripped. Had to actually ask room service to clean room otherwise it wasn't done. Loud building work actually in the hotel distrupted my sleep on multiple days.

The hotel was PERFECT, can't say enough great things about it. From the frontline folks that met us at the door, to the housekeeper that kept our room together, AKA Back Bay was perfect. Everyone at his hotel was engaged in making sure we had an enjoyable stay. Special thanks to Jamie in the restaurant, and indeed Heather at the front desk, you guys along with the rest of the staff make AKA Back Bay the success that it is...We'll be back. Thanks again.

This was the sixth time I stayed at the hotel. I first was given a room that had horrible noise. I took a video of the situation, went downstairs to the front desk and was given another room (they tried to have me wait for the technician first). the new room was ok, however, as a gold status I did not get upgraded for the second time I have stayed at the hotel. The rooms are quite outdated, but understood they are in the process of renovating the rooms. We select the hotel for its location, but it's not that great value for money to be honest. It really could use an upgrade and the service was fine, but not great.

Everything about the hotel was great, clean, good staff, great coffee in the lobby...., except for the bed. It was so uncomfortable! I never complain but this was really bad, unable to get a good night sleep, I was awake more than 1/2 the night. For such a nice hotel it was very disappointing. Happy we were staying only 1 night.

Nice, clean hotel in the old police commissioners building in Back Bay. Great location and spacious rooms. Really like the free coffee and tea in the lobby area.

Hotel was very clean staff was very polite. The only issue is the noise from the back alley early in the morning with dumpster pickup.

My husband and I both had business in Boston so we decided to stay in a nicer hotel together. AKA was lovely. Wonderful staff, large room, inviting public spaces. Adequate gym, but you have access to Equinox around the corner. In a world full of hotels that feel twice as expensive as they should be, AKA felt like it was worth the $

This hotel was decent - there was nothing terrible and nothing outstanding. The restaurant area downstairs could use an upgrade. The food at breakfast was surprisingly good, but unfortunately it felt like hanging out in someone's basement.

Great place to stay but charged $65 a day for car ( which we were somewhat ok with) but then $35 processing charge per day for parking the car.

Terrible room. Exposed electrical wiring. Tiny room. Smelled musty. There was a literal fight in the lobby when we were checking in. Nobody new anything about a credit we were supposed to receive. I would value the hotel room night at $150

Nice hotel on the edge of Back Bay by Copley Square. Nicely sized and clean rooms and friendly staff. Close to transportation. Rooms by the windows though are noisy as delivery trucks can be head in the early morning hours. And the in room amenities are minimal although the rooms are quite nice. Would definitely stay again overall.

Superb stay at the AKA Backbay Boston. My family and I chose this hotel due to the calibre portrayed and proximity to areas of interest and transport routes. This was a wonderful base hotel, with most of the trimmings of a 5* hotel. Close enough to everything we wanted to explore, yet far enough away from the noise and bustle to not be disturbed. The only slight downside of a stay here is the lack of eateries nearby. Everything seemed a 10/15 min walk away, which after a full on day, did seem somewhat of a chore.

The air conditioning didn’t work. They said they fixed it but didn’t. The bartender never showed up so there were no drinks for brunch. The room, although deluxe was dark and disappointing. Would not stay there again
