Nice cozy Inn. Easy to find and right in hear5 of Walnut Creek with lots to do all around. Ample parking and room was clean with lots of amenities. No issues with anything. Very quiet property.

Nothing too fancy here; only the basics….however, the basics here are DONE VERY WELL. Helpful front desk staff. Only annoyance is the sound of cars speeding down a very busy street nearby.

It was a good Motel. It is very close to the Highway, but the noise didn't bother me. The area looked safe. The motel and the room was tidy and clean. There was a fridge and a microwave in the room. We had a good night sleep in there for a decent price, and had breakfast at Black Bear Diner which is just a short drive away.

Diablo Mountain Inn was a pleasant place for us to stay while visiting family in the area. We just needed a comfy and clean room and that is what this Inn provided. I was worried about the close proximity of the freeway, but it proved not to be a problem.

The management and staff were very helpful, I lost my key after hours and the manager found a new one within a couple of minutes,other front desk staff helped me navigate my way around Walnut Creek.

Outstanding management and staff. Could not be more helpful. When there was a problem, it was fixed promptly. AND THE ROOM WAS SERVICED EVERY DAY, without request. We would come back here and highly recommend for others.

I liked staying at this Inn. The Staff were friendly and the location is nice. There’s a nice cafe next to it and everything I needed was within a mile or two of where it was. I was also surprised at the size of the bathroom in my unit. They’re gigantic! Definitely would stay here again if given the chance.

Your add mentioned free breakfast and there was no breakfast. When booked, it says free breakfast. I should have booked it with another service that provides breakfast. Not happy with you guys

Very smooth registration process, can opt to complete a pre-registration form so in-person registration takes just a few minutes. Very comfortable rooms with refrigerator, microwave, and large screen televisions. Although near an overpass, rooms are surprisingly quiet. Can park right in front of room. Have stayed twice and heard no noise from adjacent rooms.

I cannot possibly say enough in praise of this hotel and its staff!! I know it doesn’t look like much from the outside, BUT is the perfect example of needing to not judge a book by its cover! To begin, the staff are truly top-tier, and that’s coming from someone who has stayed at hotels like the Claremont and the W. From the check-in receptionist to the night auditor, all the way to the manager, Chance, every question or concern was addressed with kindness, professionalism, and promptness above and beyond what I would expect. Secondly, if something goes wrong during your stay, they IMMEDIATELY work to fix it, and if they can’t, go above and beyond in their efforts to make it right in other ways. During my stay, the power in the entire city of Walnut Creek went down due to the intense heat. I have MS, so I can’t be without air conditioning, especially during a heat wave, and as soon as we realized the power wasn’t going to come back on anytime soon, the night auditor and I arranged for me to find an alternate hotel and receive a refund for my stay. He followed through and got the manager involved, who went above and beyond to communicate with Hotels.com who I’d booked through, and ensured my refund was initiated. Bottom line: do you need an affordable hotel with mattresses that are more comfortable than those at The Claremont, with a staff who truly has your back? Then go ahead and stop scrolling, because you’ve found it in Diablo Mountain Inn.
