Great hotel - even greater staff.

1st room stank like a dirty jock strap, not sure why housekeeping didn't notice, asked to be moved. Hotel didn't look like it has ever been maintained. Furniture worn and in need of replacement. Bulbs out, elevator dirty, fitness room dirty. Rooms way overpriced for what you get.

The room was comfortable and clean. The property is showing it's age. They need to replace some furniture. The desk chair was so worn, the pleather covering was almost non existent. The chair had no business being in a hotel room, but should have been in the trash! We would stay here again, but the need to spend some money to replace some worn furniture and it needs a fresh coat of paint in the hallway.

We stayed for one night. Room was in pretty good shape for the most part, but there were signs of maintenance being needed. Shower curtain rod was barely hanging on for its life. Toilet would sometimes continue to run and you had to jiggle the handle to get it to stop. Front desk was notified of issues. A/C worked great ! Bed was a little too firm for my liking but not holding that against them. Great location with lots of things to do around there.

The hotel was clean a very close to the event we were attending. Very clean and having a nice breakfast before our day started was great. Met all our expectations and will stay here again if in the area.

There was a problem with checking in. The front desk person could not log in and a line started. The door to our room on the first floor Room 114 was very hard to open. the lock was stuck every time we tried to open it.

No maid service , we had to get our own towels. Nice room, but disappointed in the service.

When I checked in there was a sign at the front desk saying someone would be right back. I waited over 10 minutes for someone to arrive.
The room had a musty smell. After a long day, i was too exhausted to ask for a new room and turning on the fan to pull in outside air which helped.
In the morning, I noticed that overnight some of the ceiling plaster in the bathroom had fallen down due to water damage. I suspect this was the source of the musty smell.
Lastly, I did have to leave early on a 6am shuttle which was on time and helpful. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6am when I left but they had stuff out so I grabbed a bagel and egg patty with cheese in it to make a sandwich. Unfortunately everything was cold (the cheese was borderline frozen). I know I was 5 min early, but I think they didn't warm it up in the kitchen and instead were planning on the warming trays to heat it up. On how cold it was I'd guess they would still be only luke warm at 6:15.

Check-in was a breeze, staff very friendly and helpful. My only issue was the condition of the room (508). Upon entering, we were hit with a strong musty odor, appeared to be from the previous guest. It was a strong combination of body odor and very cheap cologne. The odor permeated throughout the entire room, into the bathroom and the bed. I took some baby wipes I had in my bag and gave the entire place a good wipe down along with some peppermint oil to mask the smell. I don’t think the pillow cases were changed because I noticed some stains and crusty things in one side so I placed the pillow on the bench across the room. Honestly, this place isn’t horrible, it just needs a really good deep clean. The carpets are stained and odorous, the furniture is outdated and chipped, the chairs are stained and ripped. I probably won’t stay here again. But, the staff are very friendly.

The hotel shuttle had a flat tire. The seat in the shower broke and collapsed (while I was using it) and then the buttons on thr phone for 'front desk' and 'emergency' didn't work! They switched my room and the phone in the second room didn't work at all. Lastly, the business center also didn't work but the employee at the desk was able to print what I needed.
The hotel is old, struggling to stay updated, and downright dirty and falling apart in some areas. The walls in my hotel room looked like someone could have easily taken a lysol wipe and cleaned whatever was smeared on them, but no one cared to.
The front desk staff tried their best to help, they were the only good part of my stay.

It's a Comfort in. Just like the Wafflehouse in the same parkinglot, you know what to expect. Perfectly average suite with friendly staff.

Room was outdated, desk chair was old and torn. The pullout sofa bed mattress was dirty,
it had huge stains on it. I called the front desk for extra blankets to throw over the mattress and no one ever showed up. Aside from the issues with the room, lobby was clean, breakfast was good, and
liked that the hotel was minutes away from main st.

For 5-6 weeks in Nov and Dec, Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child VOLUNTEERS pack shoeboxes for children in foreign countries. The packing center is a few blocks from Comfort Suites DFW, It would be nice to get a discount on the hotel.

The suite was roomy however the couch was uncomfortable. The big spa tub made it difficult to climb in the shower and the water was lukewarm not hot. We went down for coffee twice on Saturday morning and they didn’t have any available until we were checking out. The fitness center was very small.

It's a decent hotel. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast is decent. There's a Waffle House across the parking lot for other meals if needed.
I'll stay again the next time I'm in Dallas, assuming it comes up with a good price in Hotels.com.
It's not the newest, but it is well kept with no signs of decay. I liked it better than the very new and modern Tru nearby, with it's cold hard floors and stark in-room decor.

Makeup stains on pillow cases. Shower curtain rod broken. Curtains would not stay in place. They only clean rooms every 4 days..They don’t take out trash or bring clean towels. The pull out sofa bed had many pee stains.

Property was clean, convenient to my destination. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable.
Negative the A/C unit was extremely loud, which effected a goodnight sleep.
