Parking was very easy
Staff were delightful and helpful
The hotel was very quiet with it being out of season so the menu choice in the restaurant was very limited but what we had was good and value for money.
Breakfast was freshly cooked to order again because of the limited number of guests.
We will definitely return.

Having read previous reviews, our expectations were low. Only to find in booking in that the rooms were very good. Spacious, clean and with good facilities.
The only criticism internally was the carpet could benefit from either cleaning or replacing. The stairwells could also benefit from a paint refresh.
The staff go beyond on providing customer service and trust they are getting rewarded accordingly.
The food, although the service was slow, the evening meal was very good but the portions were on the small side. More garlic bread with the Chilli please. The breakfast was excellent.
Now the golf course, the greens regardless of the fact that we were told they were being maintained they are the worst greens we have seen in 50 years of playing golf elsewhere. One of our party was friends with the previous owner 10 years ago and the course then was immaculate. It still has the same potential but needs investment.Then it would be a lovely place to come for Golfing Weekend and also maybe a Wedding venue. My final statement, is that you ran out of Guinness.
