Location, comfortable, quiet even though overlooks the courtyard.

Location and service. From checking in to The bar manager Paul and the tallest barman Ty
Double bed is two pushed together so uncomfortable to cuddle. No breakfast option yet but it’s coming!

Welcoming staff and neat and clean rooms, perfect accommodation for a wedding nearby. Just a shame we weren’t table to try out the pub as that looked lovely too.
No aircon which was a shame as it was the hottest day of the year so far but we had a fan in the car in case and it was fine with the window open - still good value for money

The look of the old building was appealing , and the high street location was ideal. Staff friendly enough , with an average check in.
I was disappointed with my small dark single room, housed in the out buildings in the court yard.The room was in fairly good order, but a yellow tainted toilet seat should be replaced, as the bathroom is in fairly good condition apart from that.The bed was very lumpy. The walls are very thin and you could hear light switches and plugs being switched on in neighbouring rooms.There was a fairly frequent rumbling of the water system , and neighbouring bathroom fan extractors droning in the background. Sadly because of all these factors It was not a restful or relaxing stay. Check out was without a person involved a notice left on the wall stating leave your keys on the desk, so no chance to air feedback. I will not be returning.
