Very good hotel!

All things are great . Wish the water system and septic system can be improved

The location is very good, but rooms are small, bath smaller with no place to put toiletries.

Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel was in walking distance to the plaza and many restaurants and shops nearby.

It is a nice hotel but needs lots of maintenance, we couldent close our whashroom door and smell bad and staff didn’t bother to give us a wright information. But it is close to main attraction and it is located in a safe area

- Second floor rooms smelled like toilet. - Majority of staff were good but there was one lady at the check in counter that was very unfriendly. All the information that she gave to us was wrong. Any price that she gave us was double of what other staff gave us. for example for a private tour for 10 people she made a phone call and gave us price of 750 Sol. Then we asked another staff a man and he made a phone call and got us the same thing for 400 Sol!

Ask for a room in the second or 3rd floor. The first floor rooms would shake in the middle of the night as if it was an earthquake (cars passing by I assumed) Specially if they give tou the room with the street window. Luckily we were able to change to the 2nd floor the next day. Breakfast was okay. Nothing too fancy. Very basic even though it was a buffett. I Would have loved to try different kind of artesanal breads made by the community. Not store bought.

Bad atenttion of front desk personal. They change the bed tipe from reservarion. Nevertheless i check in at 7:00pm. They made me wait about 30 minutos. Beside that, the hotel is very near the plaza de Armas

Terrible overall, looks appealing in photos ,looks more like a hostal than a hotel , does look impresive in the outside did not help to live the experience .

The hotel is well localized. Walking distance to main square and in a safe and quiet area. The rooms are small. I stayed in a single room with my husband. The bed was a queen size or smaller, and the bathroom smelled because of the old pipes. Though my children stayed in the adjacent room and they didn't have the same problem. The people is very nice. The room service and restaurant was good. It is an old hotel (about 30 years), clean, we'll kept, good localization, good service. If you have a problem with the room just ask them for a change. Everything ok. If you are deciding between a small and this hotel, pick this one up. But if you are deciding between this and a chain hotel like Sonesta, Marriott, Hilton or any other, don't hesitate and pick the other one.

Staff is extremely helpful and courteous

Lovely hotel, very cosy and comfortable . However I was disappointed the reception staff were quite cold and unfriendly. They didn't welcome me on arrival, didn't explain anything about the hotel itself, ie breakfast, bar, internet etc, I had to ask for a map and prompted them to explain about hotel facilities but they answered very unenthusiastically. Anyway despite this the breakfast was good, porters nice and heater in room.

I checked in to the hotel and my room looked like a prison cell with a TV. Bathroom was horribly out of date and the street noise was very loud. It looked nothing like the hotel that I saw online. Staff did not speak English well at all and the didn't even have change for a customer to break. Horrible experience.

This is a very well cared for, clean hotel that is also reasonably priced. The common area was very nicely kept and (in our case) decorated for Christmas. It has a comfortable bar area. The desk clerk and staff were very professional and helpful -- generally good English and very accommodating to our limited Spanish. The room was clean and comfortable. It was tight on space because we had a triple, but a standard would likely be more than spacious enough. Bathroom was clean, plenty of hot water, and the toilet flushed properly (not always the case in other hotels as we learned). This hotel also has an excellent location -- just a few minutes' walk to the Plaza de Armes, restaurants and shopping. One word of warning: they do not know how to make American style coffee! (We found this to be the case in other hotels, too.) Otherwise, the breakfast was very good.
