Great location, nice modern hotel with great rooftop bar overlooking the ciencas / oceanographic .. pity pool not open especially in May, slow service at reception and bars

Two nights getting to know València … we loved the city, and Barceló was a wonderful hotel for our stay. The location was fantastic. A beautiful walk to the old town or a short bus ride on Bus 19 (Euro 1.50 paid on the bus with a touch credit card—super easy). We would stay here again. We even got free parking with hotels.com

Stayed 3 nights. Room was clean bed very comfortable. Staff friendly. Location was very walkable to the activities we had planned.

Very noisy room and we were on 4th floor. You can hear every car that passes by. Room needs a little tlc.. buffet was good but one of the staff was constantly coughing over everything with no mask. They also were letting parents with sick children touch food and cough over it. Should be more considerate.

Great stay in this luxurious hotel. Staff are all really kind and friendly and the beds are enormous and so comfortable. Central location near El Corte Inglés for shopping and El Turia is perfect. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

Very nice hotel and it is close to all the major attractions, cafes and restaurants. Bit expensive but worth it. Rooftop bar was especially nice and popular.

Room wasn’t cleaned despite asking twice - bed was poor split up in middle. Tv was not working properly. Pool area closed. V average experience

The only criticism is that the room was very noisy from traffic and street noise. Other hotels I’ve stayed in had really good sound proofed glazing do this was a disappointment but otherwise a lovely hotel

My wife and I enjoyed a long weekend in Valencia. This is a very nice hotel located very close to the modern science park. Very friendly staff and excellent selection to choose from at breakfast.

Our shower leaked so much it flooded the bathroom. We reported it and was told it would be fixed, but it didn’t happen. It was dangerous and unnerving stepptout of the shower on to a flooded floor. The front desk staff was helpful and the room comfortable. We enjoyed watching fireworks from our window and the location was perfect for seeing the sights and riding buses.

Wish they remodeled all the bathrooms to have showers with doors to provide privacy when showering and more user friendly getting into the shower. Also need to update towels and hair blowers. The staff was outstanding, great breakfast buffet and the location is fantastic, we had the best Mojitos in Roof Top Bar!

The Hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are excellent .location is the problem. Saturday night the road outside is full of motor bikes around the roads. The noise is horrendous it feels like a race circuit.

Extremly poor service in the dinning hal. The staff there was increadibly rude. They were very obviously gossiping about the hotel guests. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable. Very limited English speaking. Pool is only open from 11h until 20pm and not heated. Nice rooftopbar but you are obliged to order at least 10euro pp, meaning you cannot order soft drinks. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

I love the Barcelo brand and stayed many times in 2 different Barecelo hotels for business in Madrid so decided to entrust my girl weekend away to Barcelo in Valencia. It’s been rather underwhelming! The hotel needs updating - it just lacks care, looks like it’s not been looked after very well - from terribly stuck sliding doors to hooks that were almost falling off. Beds are very comfortable though I have to say. Room was very small for 3 people and it feels like the 3rd person had been forgotten- for example a supplies weren’t replenished for 3rd person. The room was clean when we arrived but not cleaned properly after the 1st night. In general, rather a disappointing experience. at the top of the hotel, there is a bar with a lovely view but the staff standing on the door both times we went up there was very unfriendly and off putting- not customer friendly at all! Makes you not want to go there! 10Eur per person for a 1st drink doesn’t even make sense and if they wish to charge this, hotel guests should be exempt.
