Our stay at the Champlain hotel was amazing. Our room was perfect with a view overlooking the historic buildings. Everything you could ever ask for is within walking distance including excellent dining and wonderful shops. We would definitely stay here again

Hotel Champlain is a nice, small, cosy boutique hotel in the heart of Old Quebec City. I warmly recommend it.

Great location. Friendly staff. Love the hot chocolate they provide in the lobby. Small room but clean and fine (especially if you don’t plan on staying in all day).

Well located

We had a wonderful holiday stay! The loft was perfect for our long weekend of Christmas Markets, wonderful meals, ice skating and relaxation! Very friendly and helpful staff. Bonne Annee! A couple of things to note is the loft is in the original portion of the hotel with no elevator access and recommend making a parking reservation early if you want to park right at the hotel.

Overall a nice experience, small hotel but cozy. Nice room, clean, and close to the to prime location. We loved their rainfall shower head and good coffee/hot chocolate in the lobby. The only complaint is the parking is quite expensive over there.

Stayed 3 nights. Very comfortable, large room. Beds great. Location was great for Christmas Village and resturants! Only thing we missed was snow! Great trip in Quebec city

An excellent hotel to stay in Quebec City.

I was an American visitor. I did not hate the place but it also was not amazing. The price was good. You get what you pay for. It did have parking at the hotel which is a big sell. The TV only has 2 English channels so bring a tablet or something if you need entertainment. I WAS SO HOT IN. THIS HOTEL. I had to turn all the heating off and put the air on. I sleep hot but it was a warm hotel. The bed was alright as well. The bathroom is small. The WINE VENDING MACHINE is done by the front desk and it closes at 11. There was holes in the towels but does have show supplies.

A great little boutique hotel in a quiet location. Parking was challenging but everything else was fantastic!

Great location, great front desk staff who were very accommodating and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. 2 blocks to many eating establishments, pubs and shops. Highly recommended.

I stayed several time at this hôtel, and usually its perfect. But this time the room I stayed in (premium with jacuzzi not the twin beds) was surprisingly unclean, especially the sink (brown stains) and the drains ( especially the jaccuzzi, which had hairs stuck in it. It was kond of gross. I stayed 4 times at this hôtel but it was the first time it wasnt impeccable

Great location, close to everything you could need in Quebec City. Very basic hotel, which was fine. The staff for the most part were friendly and helpful. Cleanliness could be improved. The duvet didn't have a cover, it was sandwiched between two flat sheets and we found dried blood on it. Room wasn't cleaned even though we left the clean the room tag out from 9am-4pm. Room a bit dated, but otherwise fine.

The room was spacious with a king size bed and a pull down sofa. There was a jacuzzi in the room and it was very nice. The location is right in the middle of the old town and it is very convenient for dinning and sightseeing. It would have been a great experience but the first night when I was getting ready to go to bed, I saw the bedding beneath the top sheet have some stains. When I pulled up the top sheets, there was fresh blood stain. Since it was after 12 am and the front desk service was all close, I have to squeeze in on the sofa bed with my spouse cause I just couldn't sleep on the bed with the blood stain. When I reported to the front desk, the lady just said oh, the house keeper must have overlooked that, without any apology. Even after the bedding was replaced with clean one, I had to sleep on the far side far away from where the blood stain was and the thought of sleeping on the same bed was gross. I don't know what happened with the house keeping but there is no way one can miss the stain of that size and the red color.
