Excellent stay for the night, at a really good price compared to what was locally available and which were inferior to Barnett Hill in overall value and quality.
We checked in at 23:50 without problem, and although the signage could probably be a bit clearer in terms of arrows to especially at that time of night, we found the room eventually and it was clean and well prepared. Only downside was i couldn't work out if we had hand soap for the bathroom albeit it might have been in an amenity kit.
Breakfast the next day was good, the staff were excellent and the checkout was very easy.
Would stay again.

The staff were very friendly, loved the history of the place.
a few things could do with a bit more love, but staff told us there were plans for a spa etc. So would think about a re visit in a year in the summer.
