Clean, quite, comfortable. Good location for my needs.

Perfect spot to tour UCSB campus. Clean and has perfect variety of foods for breakfast. Carpets in the hallway need shampooing and felt couch in lobby as well.

Breakfast was totally empty and took 20 minutes to replenish. We were there 3 nights 4 days and they were not going to service our room.

They gave away my prepaid non-refundable room that I booked a month ago for 2 nights. They only had smaller rooms to offer me. When I refused the smaller room, they had to call around to other local hotels and could only find me a cheaper hotel on the other side of town. Initially they even wanted me to move back to their hotel for the second night.
On top of that, they wasted an hour of my time while my family sat in the car waiting. And then we had to drive 23 minutes in the rain to the other hotel on the other side of town. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
I also tried calling hotels.com for assistance, especially as a gold member. They gave no assistance and left it to the Hampton Inn to figure out.

Check in time is 3 PM. When I got to the hotel, they informed me that my room would not be ready because they were sold out and had no other rooms to give me so I waited in the lobby for two hours while I did some laundry with their pay machines that were an absolute nightmare to work out Later on around 9 o’clock there was raging parties above me. I couldn’t hear myself think I complain. Several times the front desk told me there was nothing they could do??? I had to go up to the second floor, myself and scream please turn down your music , finally around 1030 things quieted down. I asked the front desk person to have the manager reach out to me regarding these issues and I never heard back I called plane to hotels.com. I wanted my points back that I used for that evening never heard back yet, but I’m expecting to , I never normally complain about much but the attitude the front desk was very dismissive and rude and condescending not OK

Overall very good- convenient, generally clean, breakfast wasn’t bad for this type of hotel , beds comfortable, and good coffee offered round the clock was fantastic. A couple of things not so good - there was an unpleasant smell coming from bathroom which made whole room smell off , the shampoo container was empty and wasn’t refilled . We were not told upon check in that the room would not be cleaned unless we requested it the night before . Since we checked in very late and left the room the next morning and didn’t come back till late , we found the room dirty which was an unpleasant surprise .

Not clean, trash bins at common breakfast area full since night before, toilet did not flush properly needed to be flushed several times, not at all the standard for a Hilton place.

What really bothers me about this stay is one, when I checked in the person at the front desk was in the backband had to wait for them. Then they asked for my CC and ID. Then they tell me to run my own CC. Why do hotels ask for my CC if they are to lazy to swip it? I asked the guy at the front and his only answe is idk. Sigh..
Second issue is someone began playing very loud music in the room next to me. I called the front desk and asked what the policy is on quiet hours. They said they dont have one. 2 minutes later they called back, tried to answe from the phone and it didnt work but suddenly the music stopped.
Last issue is, please get desent pillows, like just some with support.

The hotel was kept up and very nice. We only stayed for an overnight trip and it was perfect for that. I imagine it is a nice hotel for business stays; it had that 'vibe' to it.

The hotel itself was fine. My reservation came across in a different name therefore it took me over 45 minutes to check in while they checked in with hotel. The hotel staff was very gracious considering the problem was not initiated by them.

The area is nothing to write home about: neighboring gas stations and auto shops. Rooms made up only on request, and even then, they did a poor job; didn't even make the beds or clean the bathroom floor! Old carpeting; corridors smelly; sliding bathroom door was partly broken and made so much noise opening or closing that it woke others up.

It was perfect. We had to be at a race early Saturday morning. Easy access to freeways got us there on time. The staff was helpful snd friendly. I thought i left my phone in the room after checkout and they helped me!! Overall we all enjoyed our stay.

Two very young girls working front desk. 1 blond seemed extremely polite and nice. I ended up with the other, unfortunately (darker skinned teen-early 20s). Without going into long details she was, by far, the rudest hotel clerk I've ever encountered (all while I'm trying to be polite and respectful). I was about to cancel and leave to another place when the manager came out and set her straight (to which she just rolled her eyes). There were a few other smaller issues, but this service alone made my experience completely miserable.

We always stay at Hampton Inn hotels whenever we travel. This was no exception. Great quiet location, clean as all other Hampton Inn's. Only part of the stay I didn't enjoy was we returned to the hotel after dinner, only to find half of the parking lot was sealed off, because they were going to re-pave the next morning. All of the guests were driving around the parking lot back and forth with nowhere to park. They should have posted signs or informed the guests in the morning so they woudn't be shocked on their return in the evening.

The hotel was clean but the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the walls are very thin, hard to get good sleep with all the noise

When we arrived the hotel informed us that they had overbooked their suites, and we were downgraded to a standard double queen room, with no guarantee of a rate adjustment since we booked through a third-party. Our room ended up being right outside of the pool, and it was very noisy.
The free breakfast, parking and wifi were the best part of our stay. The room and bathroom could have been cleaner. There was an undergarment left on the floor by a previous guest, carpet appeared dirty and their were hairs on the bathroom walls. There were visible stains on the curtains in our room. Their was no way to smart cast to the TV.
