This is definitely in the cheap motel category. Upon arriving, the man at the front desk was very kind and helpful. It gave me hope after reading the questionable reviews of the place. When we got in the room, we could tell it was old and outdated. We had 3 beds but the separate bedroom was behind a room in the hotel room next to us (shared a thin wall). The beds all made lots of noise and were very uncomfortable. We found things (including food) leftover in the drawers of the nightstands. None of us used the shower, so I can’t say much about that. We definitely chose to make it a short stay and left as soon as possible in the morning. We never felt unsafe but it was not a place we’d stay at again.

We stay here often, always have a nice stay. Only complaint this time is the room we got the bed was worn, lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. Not only did I but so did my oldest wake repeatedly with pain from it

This motel needs an overhaul. It is quite old; the bottom of the bathroom door was all peeling (possible water damage?), the metal cabinet below the bathroom mirror was corroded and had no sliding door anymore, the light plug behind the bed didn't work well, there were bashed-in corners of the walls and coving, there were bathtub chips & marks. The desk staff was quite friendly, and the bed was comfy.

The room was very small. TV does not work and shower from next room can be heard from our room. Very, very noisy, couldn’t get any sleep.

It served it's purpose as a budget-friendly motel. The room had everything I needed for a one-night stay. Wasn't expecting 5-star accommodations or amenities, so I wasn't disappointed. The front desk was friendly and room was clean.

Great place to stay, only real complaint was the door to the room did not have great weather-sealing and caused it to be a little bit chilly on a December night. Front desk was very helpful and polite, Josh was extremely helpful.

I enjoyed my stay, the room was basic and clean. I was a little cold in the early morning. The people working there were very welcoming and helpful. The value was excellent! The location on the highway was convenient, especially because I did not feel bothered by the traffic noise when I was in the room.

Property seemed good. The only bad thing--no chairs in the room. When you get old and inflexible, putting on socks helps when there is less distance to reach.

Convenient location. You get what you pay for. Walked into our room and ran right into a spider web. Killed multiple spiders, a couple earwigs, and some other flying bugs. Towels were stained. Room was old and wear and tare was evident.

We’ve stayed at Blue Coast 3 times now. It’s definitely a budget motel but the staff is nice and the rooms are decent. No frills but close to the beaches and even an ocean view to wake up to.

The new managers are very personable and friendly. It’s obvious that they are working hard to improve the property. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were very clean.

I really couldn't have asked for a better spot to sleep and it was very convenient. Being from Georgia I had a little panic attack when I saw no AC but opening the window and ocean sounds and breeze, wonderful.

The managers were extremely friendly and helpful. They work hard to make an older but nicely upgraded motel a pleasant place to stay. VERY clean. I arrived barely able to talk with a dried out throat (MC & wind). Before checking in I was offered a choice of beverages to cool down and wet my throat. Very considerate and thoughtful. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Booked this hotel because we stayed once before with no issues. We only used the room to shower and sleep Upon check in. Charged $150 instead of most hotels charging $50. Whatever. Get into the room, kid handprints alll over mirror in front room. Went to pee and toilet wouldn't flush. During the night got a bloody nose, while sleeping, usually don't notice till morning. Wasn't a huge mess. Washed my hair. Small amount of purple dye on one towel. Made sure hair was dry before bed as usual. Get home, charged $73 for new sheets due to "excessive amount of blood and purple dye on all sheets". I worked in hotels, we use chemicals and BLEACH, hence the white sheets Also, bed was VERY squeaky and I couldn't roll around without creaking. Usually I don't complain, but $73 for sheets you buy in bulk online from a wholesaler is a bit high.
