We had a lovely weekend stay at this hotel, which is only a 10 minute walk from the city centre and close to York’s many attractions.
Our air conditioned room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities, dressing table, hairdryer, iron, tv and plenty of power sockets. The en-suite had a spacious walk-in shower and toiletries were included.
We used the hotel restaurant in the evenings and our meals were both well presented and delicious. The hotel bar had a good variety of beers, wine and spirits and there was also an outside seating area in the garden which included all-weather glass pods.
The hotel staff were all very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and made our time in the hotel such a fantastic and valued experience.

Great location for seeing York - 5 minute walk to the walls/York Minster. Loved the outdoor garden/bar area. Wonderful staff

I've stayed several times now at this hotel and I wouldn't stay anywhere else, its consistent and that's what everyone wants when going away. Never disappointed and always want to go back… well done to all the hard-working staff.
