You will not find a more friendly hotel than this! Even before we arrived we got the sense of how great this would be as I phoned ahead to check parking and was met with openess and a friendly member of the team.
Upon arrival, this warm welcome continued and I felt like we were the only people there, so attentive!
Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked and great choice, we didn't really need lunch! Overall just a great place - bedroom was fantastic and loads of room for us and our teenager. Only thing I'd change is taking the dining table & chairs out the family room and have a couple of armchairs intead

Ideal location for a stay in York as it’s only a small walk from the city centre.
Great amenities and accommodation with friendly staff.

I like the area, near the city centre. I like the breakfast. Staff were wonderful.
The only problem was the smell of food in my room.

Always a friendly stay, lovely garden out back to relax and very near to the city centre, they upgraded my room without asking and served a lovely breakfast. I used the handy gym out back in the morning and also had a cheeky nana nap and a couple of beers in their landscaped garden. I defo recommend staying here for a nice change to a typical standard premier inn etc experience. You really must read the Hotel guide in the room absolutely fantastic and funny.
