The staff are amazing! I have been travelling back and forth between home and Saint John due to my dad being in the hospital. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and easy to access. I left to go see my dad on my second day, and when I came back the room had fresh towels, the garbage changed and the bed made and the room tidied. The cost is very reasonable, and the location is perfect for my back and forth between the hospital and hotel. My first 2 nights I was so exhausted and sick, I asked for tea and honey at 4am and the gentleman at the front desk was so helpful. My next visit I checked out and didn’t have the energy to drive home, the lady at the front desk checked me right back into the room I was in and she was so nice. My kids love the pool and the hotel is quiet. The breakfast is awesome, the pancake machine is really cool. I honestly can’t thank the staff enough for all of their help, support and understanding.

We had a great stay for 2 nights. The pool/hot tub was great, ans staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel room bathroom and pool deck could have been a bit cleaner, but overall it was fairly clean. Great breakfast in the morning and lots of parking space as well.

It was fine for a night. Although renovated, you can still tell the building itself is old and dated, especially the pool area. Breakfast kept running out in the morning and was slow to refill. Older area of the city, 2 or 3 loud late night trains. Bed was comfy though.

Good location, close to uptown with excellent restaurants, quiet, easy access to Hwy, clean and friendly staff, a lot of parking spot, a few exts and entrance from building close to parking, yoi don't have to go tthe hotel at all. Decent breakfast, and coffee and tea available all the time. If I will come next time I will stay once again.

I’ve stayed here about 4 times this stay was quite bad the room had food from the last visitor around the bed. The safety bar on my door was pushed open several times from the outside I was unable to catch who it was but regardless there are huge gaps in the doorway to the frame that would make it easy for someone to get in. Felt very unsafe. People were in parking lot out back all hours of the night racing through and blowing there horn seemed like shady acts were taking place.

I was here while my husband was hospitalized. The staff were accommodating to my changing reservation. My only concern was the breakfast was lacking in fresh fruit. The first day there were 2 apples, the second morning there was 1. After that there was no fruit at all. The room was tidied, each day, fresh towels as needed.

Floor in room was not swept, exterior and parking area was not well kept (weeds, etc), loud noises on Sunday morning coming from meeting room area, rust on chairs and floor in pool area, etc. Likely will not be back to this hotel.

When I checked in, my driver's license was unexpectedly copied without my consent. When I inquired about this, I was informed that it was a COVID-related precaution. However, as of October 2023, it seems unnecessary to legally mandate a photocopy of identification when they already possess sufficient information for contact tracing purposes. According to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, this practice lacks justification and may potentially endanger guests by increasing the risk of identity theft. Disturbingly, these copied documents are casually stored in a basket at the front desk. The condition of the hotel, which is located in a run-down area, was quite different from the misleading photos online. I felt unsafe during my stay, and to make matters worse, I discovered blood on the bathroom walls.

As a female solo traveller, this property was incredible. I was travelling with a dog and the attendant upgraded me to a massive room for him. I believe it was the old conference room or something, it was HUGE. We walked into the downtown, took about 10 minutes but it was an easy walk and there is lots to look at (its uphill btw). Overall I loved my stay here and will easily stay again anytime I have to take the Digby ferry!

I checked into my room to find that one of the windows had fallen open. I tried to close it and lock it, but to no avail. This was on the ground floor - a passerby could have easily just climbed into my room at any time. The maintenance staff were excellent in trying to remedy the situation. They said they were aware of the issue and had advised front counter staff that the room should not be rented until it could be properly fixed. We were moved to another room, but it only had one bed and a pull out couch. It was sufficient for our stay and I let my son take the bed because he had to play in a tournament the following day. When we were moving to the new room, the maintenance staff was trying to explain somewhat unsuccessfully, that the problem room should be taken out of inventory until it could be properly fixed. The more senior counter staff was saying that they could not because it was a management decision. My question is, why is the issue not being raised with management? There is a communication problem somewhere or management doesn't care - not sure which.

Very clean, well laid out hotel, BUT, disappointed in the noise of doors banging. Room doors bang loudly with people going on and out, side entrance doors loudly bang also. Our room happened to be, beside an entrance and smokers continued to run in and out for a drag. Smoking to be 20 feet from building, but, ash tray was only 6 inches away from building and people standing just outside our window puffing up. A couple of early morning risers, leaving at 5:30, was a good alarm clock as well.

Check-in was smooth and easy, greeted by a friendly front desk person, room was clean although a bit sparse (a small table could have fit easily with the amount of space available) but bed and pillows were comfortable, hot tub (temp was way too hot for me but partner enjoyed it!) and pool were used a couple times, quick drive to many things to see and do! Overall good stay.

Upon check-in the first room we were given smelled of smoke and mold. We asked to move rooms and the 2nd room was in a loud hallway near the highway. We decided to stay in it anyways as it was late and we needed a rest. This hotel is in need of some cleaning.
