We loved our stay at Wine and Roses and we have always had a great time here! It’s super clean, quiet, and the staff is always friendly and helpful!

Was given a handicapped room without requesting one. The shower was designed for a wheelchair….had to skip using the shower too awkward to use….not happy with that considering what we paid for the night.
We also had a party going on upstairs at 2:00 AM!

Large room. Great service. Cafe was excellent and we had room service bring our dinner and the service was professional and friendly.

The service was good up until our last day of our two night stay. I was most disappointed when we asked for an extra half hour to get out of our room due a conflict to our brunch reservation that we had right there at the hotel. I felt that was a small ask considering all we had spent already at the hotel. But the answer was no.
The grounds are very nice.

We had a fireplace room and the fireplace barely worked.
Maintenance said they couldn’t do anything about it

Picked W&R for Dinner and overnight stay for our 40 Anniversary.
Great choice!
All staff worked hard to make it the special occasion that we believed it was.
Exceptional property with thoughtful staff.

This is a charming inn run by nice people. I was in the Robert Gordon room which is essentially a suite, with a living room, bedroom and bath. It's in a great location--half a block off the main drag, right downtown. Ashland is one of my favorite towns.

Beautiful place well maintained, friendly staff, my husband and I love staying there

Great room on bottom floor. Got locked out once when we deadbolts door from inside the later exited from patio door. Suggest to have key slot on patio door also. Great restaurant service for brunch and dinner. Very clean room and bathroom and cleaning staff awesome and friendly.

Beautiful venue.

Bad experience at front desk where mgmt DIDN’T WANT to accept an actual photo (with picture) of my licence (wallet was back in car). Talked them into being reasonable but I didn’t like attitude of them doing me a favour renting me a room. Then lack of proper numbers on outside corners of buildings meant we spent 15 minutes driving around like Sherlock Holmes - this isn’t the Fairmont folks!

Nice place. The grounds are pretty but the location is just ok. Basically at an intersection - so it lacks the convenience of being in a walkable area but still doesn’t have the ambiance of a more rural setting. It was nice and quiet despite the location though. Room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated but amenities were basic. Spa looks luxurious and has high-end (and pricey!) products. It was booked during my stay so I couldn’t experience the services.
The place is expensive for what it is. $350/nt on a Wednesday was a splurge that I don’t think the experience deserves. However it is the only “resort-style” accommodation in town so I guess demand sets prices. I was very surprised that the price DID NOT INCLUDE a $20 resort fee which I was charged when I departed. I was also surprised that my booking did not include access to the jacuzzi, etc. I was told I could buy access with a day pass through the spa.
The restaurant was also completely booked. I sat at the bar for dinner but it only serves a limited bar menu. Staff at the bar were great-very friendly and service was good. I got the impression that they cater more to locals because some people were allowed to order items off the dinner menu but I was told it wasn’t available. The entertainment at the bar was a pleasant surprise and I hear it is good every night.
All said, I didn’t absolutely love the place for the money, but I’ll probably return because it’s better than the alternatives.

Best stay of our trip yet. Wish we stayed longer. The rooms were so welcoming. Loved everything about Wine & Roses, will definitely be back.

The hotel has a secluded feeling, you don't even notice the cars that pass by on the streets surrounding the property. They have two dining options available and a spa center. The room was large and comfortable.
The Lodi Wine Visitor Center is located on-site and has wine tasting and a wine club that offers wines from various local wineries.
With all the amenities, you don't really need to leave the hotel on a weekend stay.

Went here for an overnight lady’s trip. I was shocked by the events that took place during our stay. Upon initial check in the hotel desk clerk was very rude after I asked if we could have a room next to the other half of our party. I didn’t say anything about the rudeness as it was just the beginning of what was going to be a fun time. After returning from winetasting that day we proceeded to the area with the bar and piano. We ordered snacks and wine. This is about the time things really started to go south. Though I was not present during a conversation between my friend and the manager I was told the manager, Tricia was extremely rude about our request to change our dinner reservation. She, Tricia had indicated that we MUST be there at 7:15pm or we can’t get in. All 5 of us started to realize that its standard and normal practice for the staff to be less than kind and treat hotel guests with disrespect and hostility. We proceeded to go to the restaurant promptly at 7:15 and waited to be seated. Once again, the hotel manager, Tricia tended to us at 7:20 and said we were late and even thought we were, in fact, on time. Once seated we looked over the menu and ordered an appetizer. My friend asked for a wine list and was told by our server the manager Tricia told her (our server) because one of us was “teetering” that no one can have a glass of wine with dinner. Now let me say, we are all in our 40’s and not one of us was belligerent or being obnoxious in any way.

The Staff were very friendly and wanted to help. The grounds are beautiful with gardens that are many years old with enormous trees, and lots of flowers. The outside dining is well done, with shade and wood tables and chairs - first class! Dogs were welcomed.

The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff were friendly and quick to respond. The food at the restaurant was ok and the bed was too soft for my liking especially since I have back problems. And the surrounding town was not as picturesque at this resort

This is the perfect place for a girl’s getaway! Massage, then head to the room to get dressed up for a night out at the hotel restaurant or appetizers at the bar ( with live piano music nightly). No driving required! Absolutely love this place!

This is a gorgeous hotel. This will be my go to place. Only thing I didn’t like was the toilets. Not plus size friendly. But good star for the rest!

The property itself is beautiful, lots of trees and little garden areas. They have some exotic birds which are fun to look at. Pool looked beautiful but didn’t use it, fitness center was nice and clean.
The restaurant was beautiful and the food and service was excellent. Would definitely go there again for a special occasion.
The room we were in was extremely disappointing, especially for the price. The bed was uncomfortable and the bedding was like cheap motel sheets and pillows. There was no artwork on the walls and the furniture didn’t match. Tv wasn’t easy to use and a bit out of date, didn’t have Netflix or anything like a lot of other hotels have updated to, so we ended up just watching something on our computer.
The only good thing about the room was that it was spacious and had a large balcony. The. Atheism was also nice with a large tub and stone floor but definitely didn’t match the rest of the room.
Not sure I would stay there again.

Room was not ready by guaranteed check in time and I had a wedding to attend to on site so things were a bit rushed getting ready.
