If you are coming to the Reno-Sparks area, you should consider staying at Western Village in Sparks. It is not a huge resort/casino so getting around the property is easy. The staff in all areas of both the hotel and casino are outstanding. I wanted to mention all this before getting to the room rates that are unbelievable.

Beds were comfortable. Food was good. Staff was helpful. It was perfect for our visit. Only down sides was the noise but we had a room next to the elevator and they were doing maintenance in the building.

Clean no frills room. Hotel is old, bathrooms are small with little counter space. I like that the casino and hotel rooms are in separate buildings (no smoke smell in the rooms). Apparently there's no service elevator, as the custodial staff used the same elevator as the guests and their carts and vacuum cleaner took up the whole elevator.

I give this hotel 1 million stars . The rooms are so clean , good service in their restaurants and fun casino the slots pays out😃 we had an amazing time , we were sad we had to leave but this place will definitely be our vacation spot! Thank you Western Village ❤️❤️❤️

Good hotel and good value. This hotel does not charge any resort fees. Unlike other hotels in the area. Did not use any facilities in the hotel.

Glad to see the hotel is in a different building across the street from the casino so it was pretty quiet. The room was very spacious and loved being able to walk around the marina.

Room was very clean and had a Keurig. The price was great and the room itself was as nice as hotels that I have spent 4 times the amount of money to stay at.

Check-in is in the smoke filled casino. All restaurants enter from the casino too so we didn't use restaurants like we had intended. Heard their Steak House is great, but didn't go. Heavy smoke saturates into clothing and hair quickly. Rooms are large and attractive, with high end offerings. Bed had a side depression where people have sat-uncomfortable for sleeping. Coffee maker dirty so we didn't use. Checked out over phone, clerk was to email receipt, but we have never received it, despite her kindly reconfirming email address twice; and they also hard charged daily credit hold on card-now necessitates a follow up call. Additional $ for water view not worth it since the water is rather far across a busy parking lot.

They charged the card I used for a deposit $2. Was not disclosed at check in. No reason for charge because I used nothing. Just went to sleep, woke up, and left.

Stayed on the second floor Person on the third floor above me paced up and down from 7:30 pm until 3am in the morning. I wore earplugs as much as possible. The floor between each floor is very noisy and thin, hardly got any sleep all week.

First there was no bell desk so we had to carry all our luggage to our room across a parking lot. That was not that big of a deal the room was nice and clean after check in we went to the casino were I lost about $7000 stupid me after losing all night I finally win $1500 and it’s a hand pay so I give my drivers license to the nice lady and she leaves to get my money this is when not one but 5 security guards come up to me and my girlfriend and demand ID so I start to explain the lady who works there has it I just won a hand pay and he tells me he wants no excuses I need to leave my girlfriend is 22yrs old and is scared to death these guys are in full swat team tactical gear and I ask what this is about did we do something wrong and he says no that we can expect this at any pepermill astablishmrnt we go to and as we’re getting up to leave the lady comes with my ID and money and then they say ohhh we didn’t understand that an employee had your ID this was just a random check because my girl looks young well you don’t need 5 fully armed tactical men to do this and treat me like a criminal we went to our room my girl was crying and we checked out still trying to get my refund for the room we didn’t stay in

Very nice property. Clean, comfortable, great price. The outside of the hotel doesn't look like much but the rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, and very clean. The housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. The casino is in a separate building which was nice as we don't gamble.

We were in Reno for a sport event and this hotel suited very need for the group.The staff were outstanding more so in the cafe that is open 24 hours every day. The rooms were a great size,comfortable and clean.We ate at the cafe on most occasions but avoided the Smokey and dingy casino.

The room faced the marina & the snow capped mountains which was beautiful. The room itself was nice except for the dirty, tattered curtains. The hotel had a 24hr laundry room which helped alot. Housekeeping ladies were nice as can be.

First night dogs started barking about 11:15 pm and continued until 11:45. 2nd night loud music until 11:30 and at 12:30 truck started up outside our window and it was so loud it shook our room.

The service was wonderful, staff very helpful and prompt. The room was very clean, bathroom very clean, plenty of towels. The water pressure not as strong as at home, but it does its job. Had dinner and breakfast at the regula restaurant. for was delicious and the price very reasonable.

Check in went smoothly. We had a pet friendly room so we were in the “pet wing” it seemed like lol I actually really liked it because you knew if your dog barked it wouldn’t bother anyone. Best of all there was a “pet relief area” right outside. Super comfy bed, nice towels, really like the walk in shower. Room was very roomy also. Fridge and microwave it really had it all.

The check in was fast and easy. There was an unpleasant smell in the hallway of the hotel. The garbage in the bathroom wasn’t pick up when the room was clean.

I like the location. It is close to the Marina and shopping. We had an issue with the coffee maker not working. The staff was nice enough to get us another one that also didnt work and finally a third brand new one that did work.

Last minute reservation. They had a nice room. I have stayed here before for the same reason. The place is a bit older but I know the quality and it is great. I will return.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was very nice and the beds were super comfortable! It was our second time here and just as nice as the first. We were traveling with our two kids and they love it too!

Weather kept me in my room for couple of days of my stay. Room comfortable enough but didn't have a microwave....had to eat out but couldn't reheat leftovers. Room clean enough but rest of facility with heavy cigarette smell. Facility a number of years old and outside with visible deterioration. Needs some sprucing up.

If you don’t feel like walking through a huge casino every time you leave on an outing stay here. There is no resort so if that is the purpose of your stay choose elsewhere.

I stay here when fishing Pyramid Lake. It’s the most inexpensive, comfortable, and clean place I’ve found! Just don’t get to my fishing spot before I do! 😉
