Bed was broken. Trash under bed. Completely empty kitchenette. General state of disrepair. Management unresponsive.

The room we stayed in is nothing like the photos on site. Ours had an old chest that was very wabbly, the linens had holes in them (burn marks) and cuts. They have a broken key machine, so they are reusing the keys and charging a $5 key deposit and then he doesn't want to refund it when you take the key back.

This establishment is liars. Charged my card after i spent an hour trying to get into my room, told me i had too many kids and then said i didnt show up and thought it was ok to deny me and still charge my card.

There were mouse droppings in the bed, and the room was a total shambles with chipped, paint and foot marks on the walls.

As I am a firm believer of supporting the small business and property owner, Hotels.com should be embarrassed that this property is even available on their site! It is an unsafe, unhealthy example of a motel room. As we only stayed in room 132 these details pertain to that room. Unbelievably, there are no smoke detectors or gfci outlets anywhere in the room. This tells me they are not carrying the proper insurance as the underwriter would have required it. Let alone the local authorities. The bathroom sink doesn't drain, the bathtub faucet cannot be turned on or off by mortal strength. Mismatched furniture with missing seat leather. Kitchenette is a joke, filthy stove shoved in corner, small kitchen counter pushed into another corner all behind a full size refrigerator. Not a kitchen utensils, pots, plates or silverware to be found anywhere. No paper towels....etc. This was pointed out to the management at American Executive Inn on the day we departed. None of this seemed to surprise them. If the owners would not put their family up in a place like this, they should not expect me to pay to do it! Had I any confidence that I could have backed out of my reservation when I walked into the room I would have. I am truly sorry I allowed them to sour my vacation in the Scottsdale/Mesa area.

For the price I paid. It was fine. Office Manager was great. Let me check in early. I'll go back there.

The towels all had stains on them, there was flies everywhere, and the bathroom was so tiny. My husband could not get into it. We had our service animal with us and they charged us for our service animal which I’m pretty sure is illegal. We will be contacting the ADA.

Property is in poor condition, several things in room not working. Heat would not shut off, had to maintain temp manually through the cool night. Wi fi never did work, request for help was greeted with shrugged shoulders. $5 key deposit but in the morning no one comes to the office window.

I have pictures of the room. The door was never fixed after the drug bust that happened. There was something on the bathroom door. The sheets were torn and had something on them. The stove was unclean, and the cord to plug it in had a lot of grease on it. I felt unsafe there. The room had a weird smell. We wasted $165 on a room, we had to find another hotel room. Just to stay in a room for nights we ended up spending $800. This is not okay.

We would like a refund of our money. After looking at the room we left. This property should not be listed on Expedia. It was dirty and an undesirable place to stay. The door to the room did not close or lock properly.there were some very shady people living there. We were very disappointed.

burn holes in comforter, dilapitated refrigerator, gas stove with horrible burners and a disgusting oven, exposed wires and pipes, big microwave hanging off a small counter, microwave vents next to water in sink, no outlet covers on electrical wall plugs, awful worn desk/furniture, lamp with no shade and exposed cord,no towel bar but broken brackets on wall, no toilet paper holder, backed up water in bath tub, holes in chair upholstery, exposed wires from tv. This place should be shut down.

The check in with the staff went well they were friendly and helpful. Inside my hotel room the floor was a bit dirty and some of the amenities were damaged such a the sink hot water faucet missing the handle. The bed was comfy and the sheets were clean so the sleep was pretty good. Lastly, the wifi was terrible here.

The room was really dirty when I checked in. They had only made the bed. The sink was dirty, the pillow cases were dirty, the tub was falling apart and had chunks of drywall in it. The management was really mean to the cleaning staff. The hotel is in a pretty sketch part of town and I didn't feel like it was very safe. There was no TV remote so you had to manually turn it on and turn the volume up or down on the actual TV. Annoying since I like to Mute the commercials. I definitely will NEVER stay there again. Don't recommend!

You get what you pay for, not a good property

The floors, tub, and sink were all sorry and stained. The door was taped at the bottom to cover the gap and was very dirty. The linens were also dirty or stained with dirt.

I don't believe that this Inn is still open. The living condition is horrible. The wall of the bathroom is full of mold. The bed sheet has a dirty mark on it. I strongly suggest not stay in this Inn.

I only liked the price. It was reasonable but it was so fun down. We stayed two nights. The first room we stayed in had light showing around the door when closed. Flat pillows. The second room had a broken chest in the room and a window had been repaired and the old one was still sitting in the room. We had to leave a $5 deposit for our key card.

It was so disgusting I couldn't even stay there and the owners wouldn't give me a refund, I wasn't even there 10 minutes before leaving and trying to get a refund, the mini fridge wasn't plugged in and it was full of water with holes in it, the mattress didnt even have a fitted sheet and it was ancient with stains and horrible springs, the bathroom door was busted in with nails sticking out, paint was peeling off the walls, it smelled like vomit and cigarettes, the walls had horrible stains with a sticky residue on it, there wasn't a toilet paper holder and the tiles in the bathroom where falling off, no covers on the electrical outlets and exposed wires, only one light in the room, and stains on the toliet seat, and the list goes on and on. It was the worst experience of my life in a motel/hotel, it's so unsafe and unsanitary nothing looked like it was cleaner even the towels where dirty

The room was filthy, the bed linens had holes in them, the bathtub was extremely dirty, there were racial slurs written with a sharpie on light cover, used food wrappers under the furniture, damaged lampshade, and much more. We demanded a refund and left to stay elsewhere.

This was a horror story brought to life. We got to check in at 7pm. No one was around the office was locked. Rang the doorbell and waited for 5 minutes. A man came and made us pay 5 dollars deposit for the key. He took my id and made us wait another few minutes. Then a woman brought it back and told us the room. Said the area was safe and the room was clean. We opened the door and it was the worst room I have ever seen. There were no covers on the power outlets. The toilet seat was taped together to hold it in place. The sheets had cigarette holes though it was a non smoking room. It stink so bad like someone had died in there. The mattress had a protector but the mattress itself was full of blood stains and dirt. The door had a 2 inch gap in the bottom. It was stained all over the door. The chair was stained. The microwave was stained and coated in dried food. The oven was flashing power and was so cooked in dirt it was covered in caked on material. The wall in the bathroom looked like an electrical fire was about to start with a burn in the wall. The exhaust vent was covered in dirt. We couldn’t stay there so my family and I left to drive around for an hour to find a new hotel. The staff was ice the next day though as we explained we couldn’t stay there and checked out and we got a one night refund of the two night stay. The place itself should be condemned and taken off Expedia! None of the pictures look like the hotel. It is grey now and repainted

Furniture was very worn. Cover missing on chair with foam showing. Floors were very dirty, dirt and dead bugs piled in corners. Towels are very worn. Full-size, working refrigerator.

Quite and simple check in

I've travelled all over and I always stay in cheap motels so I know what to expect. This place is just the worst I have ever seen. The room was filthy, the bathtub was slimy and dangerous to stand in. The door to the bathroom has been kicked in at least twice and the "repairs" amounted to simply moving the hinges and leaving the broken wood in place. Oh, and there was no toilet paper. I could go on but spare you more details. You should not be promoting this place to your clients. It reflects poorly on your company.

This is an older hotel with furnishings and room fixtures functional but worn and in disrepair. The heater/air conditioner was very noisy. The room was clean enough, but was not spotless. The room rate was reasonable. I would stay here again in a pinch, but would not be able to tolerate it more than two days.

The property was clean. Had a nice waterfall on. I know rooms were clean. They didn't have a hair dryer, though, but they were clean and nice and caccompable. The TV was kind of messed up a little bit but still they were their way better than the one I was in before so i was happy to be there. Staff was great.

Only good thing about this place were the clean sheets and hot water. The condition of the room was terrible, as if a police raid had just occurred: holes punched into the walls, broken lights and TV and toilet paper holder bracket (was just lying on the floor), ceiling caving in in multiple locations. You'd think you'd get more for $80 a night.

TERRIBLE!!!!! DON'T EVER EVER EVER GO HERE!! Disgusting, loud, and smelly!! The first room smelled like marijuana. Management took me to a downgraded room that was falling apart even more and smelled like smoke. I asked if the room was a cheaper rate and was told no. The sheets were dirty and there were literally holes in the front door covered with tape. I asked for another room and was told there were none even though they just gave one room to someone that walked up after me. The light rail train was directly in front of the place so it sounded like a plane landing right outside the motel. I asked for a refund, was told no refunds were possible, and went somewhere else. They refused Expedia's request for refunding my money also. No no no no no no no no no no no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sooo dirty and gross!!! The first room smelt like something died!! Then got moved to an Room that smells like smoke. They swear it was clean and no one smokes in it. There was cigarette holes on the sheets and lamp that dident Even work. Had to buy blankets to be able to sleep on the beds. Shower water was broken. Sink faucet was broken. They asked for a $5 deposit for the room key and tried to say we didn’t give them a deposit. This place should be shut down.

Horrible condition, gross dirty shower constantly dripping resulting in black mold on the bathroom walls. Holes in the sheets TV didn’t work Lights without bulbs Door stick so bad you need two hands to open The worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. Stayed one night only because after driving all day I was to tired to move. Took me over a week to get my additional days refunded to my credit card. Do yourself a favor never stay here.

Floors were dirty. Non-smoking room had burns in the bedding which smelled smoky.
