Very cute and quaint cottage in the mountains. There is a restaurant/ bar in the same building as the hotel lobby. Conveniently located within walking distance to the lake. I would definitely go back again for a longer stay as my visit was short.

The hotel was clean and had a nice vintage feel (some amenities felt slightly outdated). Employees were friendly. Walking distance to the village. Overall nice place to stay.

The workers were friendly but the service was very poor. I called and asked for new towels/sheets and the attendant told me to come to the front desk to pick them up (I’ve never been at a place that doesn’t bring them to your room). Our room felt like an oversized closet. We had a queen bed which was totally fine but we barely had any room to even walk around the sides of the bed. We had a spider come out of our bed sheets (probably because of our door, which would not close unless I slammed it with all my strength). Breakfast was literally nothing but fruit loops cereal, bagels, and juice. It’s wrong to actually advertise that breakfast. Both days we stayed were rough. Would definitely not come here again!

Overall it was a decent stay, central location. A couple of things to mention: TV channels weren’t working well and heating was uneven, first floor would stay colder than upstairs which would get real hot during the night

Karen our front desk manager was absolutely lovely. We’ve been coming to the Saddleback Inn for nearly 13 years. Always a pleasure to visit and be treated with such warmth and nostalgia. Thank you Saddleback, and Karen, we’ll see you soon.

The property had a rustic charm that blended seamlessly with the mountainous surroundings, despite the rooms not being the most modern. The staff was professional in carrying out their duties, although not overly friendly. It was a perfect spot for the family to rest after a day of mountain activities, with only basic continental breakfast offerings such as bread, fruit and cereal.

The staff on this property is fantastic, thank you! Our room was great, we didn’t have any shared walls and it was a stand alone cottage (#35). Small, but had everything we needed for our overnight stay.

I didn't like the breakfast. When I reached , the room was too cold and it took about one hour to get warm. Not so near to Lake, neighborhoods weren't clean

The hotel is well located and cute. But interior of the room is outdated and poorly maintained. Way Overpriced for the quality provided.

Our suite was really nice, felt like our own little cabin. Jacuzzi tub was really warm and cozy on a cold fall night. We ate at the restaurant and i had the best baked rigatoni I've ever had! We will definitely stay again, loved it. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This review is for room #30.
The room is large. Unfortunately the room next to us(#31) is divided by a thin door where you can link the two rooms together. The man coughing all night. Right above us, when people walk, we can hear the squeaking sound. Not a good room if you are sensitive to sound from next door or above.
The lady who checked us is was very friendly.
The room was Ok.
The breakfast was just food.
The location was great.

The hotel was charming, but could use updates. Karen at the front desk was very helpful and kind to move our room. She is a sweetheart.

This is a super adorable place and the little village its in is absolutely adorable. Anything you’d want within walking distance, or can drive/take a shuttle to surrounding villages. Would visit again!

Shower was clogged and never drained. Housekeeping left dirty towels in downstairs bath. They only had 1 cable box remote with 2 different TVs. Place is very outdated would not recommend.

Cute, charming cottages near the lake and shopping center. Checking in and out both of the front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly.

I was given a room with a bunch of insects that look like termites with wings. Michael was professional and caring to change my room to a better room without the bugs.

Love this place! The people who work here are so very kind and accommodating. The room was amazing and that tub [insert long contented sigh here].

First of all, the outside of our cottage needed to be power washed down and swept. Too many cobwebs, dry leaves, etc around. We suggest an BBQ grill. Outside maintenance needs to be paid attention to. The living room was nice and spacious for three people. We wished there was a full kitchen though, with a stove and full size fridge. Nice that there was a 1/2 bath upstairs. Going up and down would have been a pain. I was not pleased at all by the scent of the bed sheets!!! Had a bad, stale aroma. It wasn’t fresh smelling at all, so that bothered me. These issues are really minor, but should be addressed to management so folks who read these reviews are positive all around.
