The hotel is “still” very nice, I stayed there once before about 10 years ago, love the layout, gardens, service and food. Would definitely recommend, though the rooms need a face lift, ours was clean and pleasant.

Hands down the best and most luxurious hotel in Antigua. Everything was top notch from the service to the comfort of the rooms. Upon arrival I was upgraded to a suite, and it was an amazing suite. The only thing I would recommend improving is the WiFi in the rooms. It was sometimes very slow or wouldn’t work. Other than that everything about this hotel was great and made my vacation relaxing. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone traveling to Antigua.

Excellent, however there were not enough toiletries, everything was “extra charge” Not even water bottles included in the reservation. Do not recommended the rooms near the entrance. Too noisy. What I love is the amazing staff, very professional and pleasant. Cleanliness is optimal. Money exchange was very low compared with other 5 star hotels.

Great Hotel! Friendly staff always looking for ways to make stay better. Restaurants are great. Only downside is the pool area. It is very small and there is not enough chairs.

Camino Real Antigua was amazing! The service was second to none and the room was excellent and spacious. You will not regret getting the upgrade to the suite! The breakfast buffet was all very well executed and the food delicious. Definitely recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Antigua Guatemala.

This is my 3rd time at this hotel and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Safe, comfortable, beautiful, clean, great location. Restaurant is expensive but there are lots of great restaurant options in the neighborhood.

This is a beautiful property to stay at and would not hesitate to book here again. We enjoyed the jacuzzi for a nice soak while it was raining. The staff is very attentive and friendly and always went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Lots of choices at the on-site restaurant made it easy to stay and eat. Well done..!

The Hotel Camino Real in Antigua is a real gem; rooms are clean and classy, the food in the restaurant is wonderful, and the bar is a great place to grab a drink with friends. I will be back in Antigua soon and already have my reservation made.

Beautiful hotel and conveniently located! Restaurant was really good and the staff at the restaurant was really welcoming and attentive. Beds are extremely comfortable. This is my second time staying at this hotel and overall, i have had a pleasant experience. Just request a room at the upper level instead of the rooms next to the event venue/space as it can get a bit noisy if there are events going on. I did take advantage of Expedia’s VIP perks! However, at check out they wanted to charge a “resort fee” that I was not made aware of at check in or during booking. At the end, I was not charged once I forwarded my booking confirmation where there was no mention of a resort fee that would be collected by the property.
