The bar area was large and plenty parking. The room was so small it was almost dangerous.One side of the bed was only a few inches from the radiator and the tv was attached to the same wall.

When we first arrived we were allocated a room we went to the room and were greeted by a damp smell as we opened the door the room was about 9ft x 9ft with a double bed in the middle of the window area wth a radiator on one side leaving about 12 inches to get in and out the other side had about 14 inches there wasnt even a chair or table we then noticed the mildew on the window sill we went back to reception and told them about the condition of the room after humming and hawing gave us another room much bigger with 1 chair and a table we went for dinner that night and it was fine they recommended that we make a reservation for dinner the next night Friday as it was usually busy on the Friday we went to the dinning room and were told to take a seat the manager left us there for 40 minutes in the meantime a family came in for a later reservation and was shown to a table immediately by the same manager i went to complain to her and she said she was sorry but had asked one of the girls to show us to our table I DONT THINK SO she passed us by about a dozen times and knew we were still waiting i have never in my life reserved a table in a restaurant and found no tables available absolute shambles of a hotel the manager told us it was earmarked for refurbishment my personal view is it should be condemned and the female manager should not be allowed to remain in a managerial position and Hotels.com should remove it from the website

Very good value for money,staff attentive and friendly,food top class and beer fresh and good ,room was a bit small but that was no problem ,bed nice and firm just right for me ,kettle does not fit under the tap so had to use a plastic bottle to fill it .Will definitely stay here again

The staff were all very kind, especially after we had trouble with our car and changed our reservation twice with no penalties. The breakfast was lovely a good buffet and also choice from the breakfast menu. Perfectly cooked.

Stayed here several Times while needing to be in Aberdeen for work hotel never changed only Complaint is the kettle doesn’t fit under the tap To fill it up . No biscuits either alway had biscuits in the past ! Heating is very efficient in the room Bigger tv would be better in this day and age I struggled to see it .

Half empty shower gel tubes, shower corners were with fungus, very noisy, old carpets, was afraid to step barefoot anywhere, no toilet brush. Staff and food are good, but the hotel aspects of the Inn is terrible.

Only one channel on tv. No mirror /socket in bedroim conducive to drying hair , no slip mat or grab rail in bath for safety and strong smell if cooking in in foyer - better extraction in kitchen required. In saying all that we did enjoy our brief stay as we have done in the past.

Front of house and bar staff were good, the decor and carpets were also good and the room was a good size. But upon check in I was allocated a disabled room which meant rhe sink was at knee level and extremely small, as i was staying here for 4 nights i had nowhere to put my toiletries meaning they had to stay in the toiletries bag in my room. After staying my 2nd night I had to chase up reception staff to get my room serviced as the bed hadnt been made nor the towels changed and upon returning to the hotel on the 3rd night although the bed was made and the towels changed the coffees and milk had not. In the toilet the shower curtain is manky at the bottom and the toilet seat moves sideways when you sit on it. For the monies they charge the service just isn't there so although I am back in Aberdeen this coming week unfortunately I WONT be staying here

Lovely welcoming bar/restaurant area. Clean tables and good staff. Breakfast good value. Room had dirty marks up the wall. No anti slip bath mat provided. 1 towel between 2 of us. Very basic.

The room was small, the bedding had stains of a suspicious nature. The bathroom was extremely small. It was not possible to open the blind on the one window in the bedroom. The food in the restaurant was of a very poor standard.

Where to start? Room is about the size of the average hotel bathroom complete with the smallest double bed in the world, I could have dealt with this but then I looked around and saw the rest of the room. The shower is coming away from the wall, the shelf in the shower was detached completely at one side and just hanging. There was hair from the previous occupant in the sink and in about 4 different locations on the tiles and mould forming on the grout around the shower. There was tea, coffee and cups but no kettle or tea maker, a large chunk of plaster missing from the ceiling and looked like no dusting or hoovering had been done in a few days. We noticed that there were no spare pillows and only one bath towel and one hand towel so I went to ask for more and was told I could get towels if I really needed them but pillows could be a problem as there was only 2 pillows per room, when I told them I really did want the pillows I was told they would have to see if they could get any out a room which wasn’t occupied but they couldn’t promise anything!!!! During the night the room was a complete furness and we could feel every single spring in the mattress so had a terrible nights sleep ( also not helped by whoever tried our door at 2am ). I would not stay here again if you paid me.

I think the best way to describe this hotel is 'OK' everything is just OK!.. The rooms are a little tired but OK! The breakfast wasn't the best, but....OK!

Have stayed before and again, the staff are great, helpful and friendly. Stayed in the same room as well and it's always spotless and well equipped on my arrival. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I go to Aberdeen.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent, I recommend trying the Steaks - they were delicious and cooked to perfection!!

Nothing really went right from the start At check in the guy tried to make things right. Very understaffed in many areas. The food wasn’t the best. Had to wait nearly an hour on breakfast the staff that do the cleaning of rooms need shown how to do their job hoovering and cleaning a bathroom

The wellington hotel is two mile from city centre but still worth using because of it's cheap price. Under £10 for a taxi in to union square or bus in £2.60. Room was a little small but ok for two nights. We ate here first night and food and service was both excellent. Only complaint was shelving and drawers in room need a good wash as the marked some of my partners clothes. That being said I would use this hotel again, especially at £54 for two nights.

Room is basic, carpet not cleaned during my time and in my opinion had not been done for a while, shower has more water coming out from connections than head, and end up with plenty water on floor due to enclosure not sealed. Stayed for 4 nights starting on a Monday but when Checking out my bill had me down for 3 breakfasts on the Monday morning (I arrived 16:30) was going to be charged for 10 breakfasts in total when I only had one breakfast, check your bill thoroughly. Food was the best part of this visit.

Chose the Wellington as it's in an ideal location for Altens/Tullos/South Aberdeen. Plenty of well lit parking space. Entrance, reception, bar, restaurant and room all in very good condition. Room was small but fine for a short business trip for one, bed very comfortable. Food was average but very well priced. All the staff were really good.

Should be fine on paper, but you get a feel for the lack of space when you walk the corridor to rooms. Lights are set low, so its a stoop to avoid (or walk around) lampshades. Bathroom so small you can touch all four walls by stretching corner to corner. Shower door broken off and just left lying in shower unit. Attempted to charge for meal I didn't have, and no one on hand could correct bill at checkout (staff didn't know how to use computer system). Still awaiting corrected bill after four days. Maybe there's no one on site that cares anymore, either for the property, or guest experience.
