Hotel suite was non-smoking, but had cigarette smell throughout. Carpets were stained. There was pet hair all over. After 5 minutes of entering hotel suite, we went back to the lobby and gave the keys back and left. We had to find another hotel room after 8pm. To top it all off we were charged for two night and we never got any kind of refund.

We love Crown Isle Resort. Always stay there when visiting the Comox Valley. Its central to bothe Courtenay and Comox. The rooms have always been very clean and comfortable. Staff all have been friendly and helpful. Will be back!

The property is lovely. Felt safe and secure. Unfortunately, no room wifi and a bath tub which wouldn’t drain. However, comfortable beds, nice pillows, clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

We had stayed here 12 years ago. This time, we were amazed to find everything still in such great condition. Congrats for doing a spectacular job in upkeeping. Only downfall is no daily housekeeping. But great value for what you get.

Fabulous stay however i noticed that the sheets had stains and so a bit questionable on the rigour around cleanliness.

My only complaints are we weren’t able to check in on time, not until around 4:30 for cleaning, and our suite wasn’t completely clean. There was macaroni noodles on the kitchen counter and footprints all over the comforter on our bed. Housekeeping came right away and fixed it for us. The room was a little dated, but the property is absolutely beautiful and within walking distance to shopping and restaurants! We ate at the on-site restaurant and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. No matter how our stay started, we had a great time.

Very disappointed. 1/ Upon check-in we were given earplugs and told that there WOULD be noisy interruptions at night. 2/ We discovered broken glass on the floor in the kitchen in a few locations, suggesting that the cleaning was not thorough. 3/ The bed has made its final revenue for this property. With each breath, I could hear the springs under my body making noise all night. 4/ When I engaged the employee at check-out he shrugged his shoulders and commented I had made my reservation pre-paid on Hotels.com, and there was nothing he would do for us. The overall cost was $500 per night. Never again.

I especially liked the fact that the employees seemed to have some discretionary authority to handle requests and were not constantly consulting a manuel. The garbage containers near the front door were a big disappointment, however..

Wanted to check in early, but were told the room wouldn't be ready for three hours. Said they would text us when it was. So we left and literally, five minutes later received a text saying room was ready. Dining/lounge area closed at 8:00 pm - said there wasn't many guests so the staff all went home early.

Not worth the price. Spent well over $200 dollars for a room (#311) that lacked a sofa and had the oddest design I have ever seen. -tv is small and old -"kitchenette" lacked an oven/stove -no place to properly socialize -(the only) three chairs in the room are made from wrought iron -"desk" space is beside a sink, no bueno -no breakfast atm -wifi in room was not working I would say it's a 3-star hotel, but it gets a one because I feel bamboozled by the price.

Nice for a stay away. The vila would easily be comfortable for a long term stay as it was spacious and had a well stocked kitchenette. Fireplace in both living room and bedroom. Spotless and well maintained. Nice patio overlooking golf course and forested trails. Property was nicely decorated for Christmas with a large tree in the foyer by reception that made a nice impression upon arrival. Excellent staff provided suggestions for activities during our stay. Glad we chose this spot away from town.
