Great service, friendly staff, and a housekeeper that let me in after i locked myself out. She was friendly, professional and helped this hotel in the 5 star range.
Included was absolutely amazing. Fresh food, well prepared, and in abundance.
The lobby area had a very nice fireplace and comfy chairs to relax in.

The insulation could be improved but bed was very comfy and location is very central.

Displeasing things in no particular order:
-getting a room in a different building than the main hotel so you have to walk out in the rain to get to the services
-cold shower because there’s no hot water
-Wifi disappearing at 1am
-no flexibility for a late checkout
-morning wake up call that wasn’t requested

The room and facilities were very nice and clean and the service was good.
During the night at around 2 pm young adults were racing around the parking and screaming and yelling for over an hour disturbing our sleep. Night person said he didn't hear anything.

This was a great place to stay for our couple days in the area, Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area,
Room was spacious but the carpets did have some stains, The free breakfast buffet was great’

The hotel does not show up properly on maps or google and signage is minimal. Difficult to get to. Elevator was not working. Staff were very nice and great breakfast included.

Our 2 night stay was pleasant, the rooms were very well kept, beds and pillows were excellent. Staff was good and we enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast. It was above average for what they offered.
The layout of the hotel was like navigating a maze though. The elevator was out of service, not a big deal but it meant figuring your way around staircases and doorways to get to your rooms, trust me, it was interesting. All in all? Good stay

When checking in we explained that my boyfriend was in town for major surgery at the Comox Hospital and requested a room close to the elevator. We were given a room on the ground floor that was easily accessible. We were pleased with this until the next day; the room was at the back across the alley from a construction site. It was noisy all day and not at all restful.
The day of the operation I arrived back at the hotel at 8:30 in the evening and could not find a parking spot. I pulled into the check-in zone and went to speak to the desk clerk. I was told that there was a tournament in progress and they took up all the parking but it would be done around 9:30. I was offered no alternative (or apology). When I asked for an alternative, the desk clerk asked if I had checked the side for parking; there was no parking at the side. I felt like I was just expected to come back in a hour. I was exhausted and extremely disappointed with this situation.

Parking is tight but there is underground available. Elevator out of service in main building but staff easily switched me over to the new wing. Best Western is a consistent brand, bed, bedding, room size, decor and amenities updated and comfortable. Bathroom had plenty of counter space and my only criticism was the positioning of the bathroom door and the toilet/toilet paper roll holder - just a bit awkward. Breakfast had great choices of hot & cold, juice, fruit, pastries, etc. don’t forget to tip!

Staff were absolutely amazing at the Best Western, they were kind, friendly helpful however I was completely thrown off being put in a pet room. I love animals but do not enjoy staying in a place that smells like wet dog.

Clean hotel, cleaning staff do a pretty good job. Parking was tight and area is busy with traffic. Continental breakfast was very good. Matt ( I think) at the front desk was super helpful.

The rooms are lovely, the location was great and they offer a free, full breakfast. The you woman who checked me into the hotel was very capable and so hospitable. A lovely start to our visit.

After an early start and a long day travelling, the close proximity of The Westerly to the ferry port at Little River, Comox, was a welcome relief. Quite easy to find, following the main roads out of Little River and joining up with highway 19A into Courtenay. After passing over the river bridge, a short distance to a right hand turn-off into Riverside Lane and the hotel car park entrance is a short entrance off to your left. Check in was very efficient and the lady on reception was welcoming and helpful.
The restaurant located in the hotel only serves breakfast, which was a good mix of hot and cold buffet style food choices, all self service. Adjoining the hotel complex is the Flying Canoe West Coast Pub, which serves traditional pub favourites like burgers, wood-fired pizzas & wings, plus beer!
We would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here a few times. It is relatively comfortable, I like having a balcony and the attached restaurant serves large portions of good food. It is not the quietest location (depending on room location) because you are near one of the busiest intersections in the area.

We stayed only one night, but after a 5:00a.m. start to our journey, we were very grateful to be allowed an early checkin. The reception staff were very pleasant. Lots of variety for breakfast, and an attractive breakfast room. Parking in the evening was a little difficult, but the hotel is right across the road from a shopping area.
