Friendly and helpful receptionist and bar staff. Exceptionally clean. Classy decor. Room and bedding beautiful. It was a heatwave so the good air conditioning was the most amazing thing EVER 😂❤️ Some nice restaurants nearby and it has and bar.
They forgot to fill our minibar with water and a couple of beers but they sorted that straight away. It’s not cheap by Yorkshire standards - so we wouldn’t stay more than a night but we enjoyed the treat!

The location within walking distance of the town centre and lake. Large car park. Good breakfast
We chose the budget room, which meant it had never been renovated. Therefore rather shabby and old windows, tiles, floor, bathroom.
The more expensive renovated rooms would certainly be more comfortable.
