We liked that it was in the center and within walking distance of our itinerary. Our original hotel cancelled due to emergency renovations so we decided to stay here because of the reviews.
Finding it! We searched high and low for the hotel itself and figured we would then find a parking space. I wish I had known Google was sending us to the parking garage. It wasn’t apparent to us that was where we needed to be. The rooms are tiny. We didn’t realize what a “Moxy” Marriott was but nevertheless was comfortable. No AC but we did ask for a fan.

Value is good, price friendly
Much smaller than I expected, once I opened our carryon suitcases, no where to even stand, and the mattress moves. Location is ok, university town kind of feeling, a few restaurants and ice cream shops.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Close to several restaurants and bars as well as the metro. Easy to move around Lausanne because of it. The workspace in the lobby is very nice!
The rooms while nice are too hot for summer. Additionally the facility advertises that it has air conditioning however, it only has a ventilation system that makes noise and literally feels like it doesn't work. The windows have locks on the. So you cannot even get a breeze to come into the room. As a result on any day above 25 degrees it feels like a sauna. Also, for anything you ask the staff they just refer to something different. For example, booking.com says that there is a 50 CHF deposit for damages whereas they put a hold of 150 CHF instead. So I feel they are not delivering on what they advertise.
