Location in the historic area, right next to the Duomo was fantastic.
Friendly staff. Decent breakfast

Ideal location for exploring the city and a reasonable price per night
Desperately needs a refurb, bathroom was old and in need of repairs, shower broken and drains blocked so drained very slowly, broken electrical sockets and very hard mattresses.

The location in Centro Storico is excellent for being able to walk to most places we wanted to see. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the free breakfast was better than anticipated - perfectly fine for fuelling up for the day. The aircon was in good working order which was welcome after a long day tramping around hot streets.
I chose the hotel because it showed there was a lift, but it turned out our room was not accessible by it - we had to go up an outside courtyard fire-escape style staircase, or use the lift and then come down a spiral staircase, so if this matters to you, do make it clear when booking that you need a room that is actually accessible via the lift. They are happy to help with luggage, though if you have mobility challenges it could be an issue. We asked for twin beds, which we got, but each bed was so narrow that turning over during the night was a "lift and drop" operation, as rolling over would have you straight on the floor...

The hotel location was excellent, the staff were very polite and helpful. However Hotel was not 3.5 to 4 stars, the condition mostly one or two stars. and need the respond to this
The room facilities were pretty poor and I think Booking .com has misrepresented the hotel. So I would demand a compassion for this and I hope you respond to my note. Thank you
