Make sure to do your research about going to Napoli. It was a bit of a shock for me since I didn’t but Mr. G was such a great host and gave us so much information upon arrival so we were very comforted. If you want to stay in the heart of Naples and want to be by the hustle and bustle, this is the best place to be. We had a fabulous time here and the AC was great!

It is located in the center of the historical center which suited us perfect as when we were there there was a heat wave so reached 35 degrees most days so being close to everything really helped. it was close to everything but yet at night it was quite in out room. the woman who runs the place hasn't got great English but she tried and had a local girl who she employed who helped us finding the place when we landed late and joined us the following morning to show us the sites and scenes around where we were staying and recommendations for food etc.

This is a slightly unusual hotel, located on the second floor of a building where part of the floor has been converted into a few hotel rooms. There is no reception, and from the outside you would never know it was a hotel until you reach the door leading to the rooms.
To get to the hotel, you enter through a courtyard that almost feels like Naples – worn facades, narrow passages and an authentic atmosphere reminiscent of the older parts of the city. The first impression is therefore perhaps not the most appealing.
But once inside, the feeling changes completely. The rooms are nice, fresh and very clean, and we received a warm and friendly welcome when we arrived. The location is also a big plus. Restaurants and shopping are right outside the door, and just a few blocks away there is a street with a great selection of restaurants.
A real highlight is Antica Pizzeria Port'Alba, about a ten minute walk from the hotel. The pizzeria dates back to 1738 and serves absolutely delicious Neapolitan pizza. It is almost worth a visit to Naples in itself!
Overall, this is a hotel with a rather unique setting and an unusual entrance, but with lovely, clean rooms, a very warm welcome and a fantastic location
I would have liked to have had a little more information about the hotel and the area before I booked, it was a surprise when you are used to there being a reception and entrance so you would have been prepared for what to expect.
